''Bereaved' Shveta rocks the party

A bitchy co-star from the sets of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa had this to say about the extremely popular Shveta Salve.

On Thursday's episode of the Sony dance show, Salve told the judges that she performed under great stress as her fianc Rodney Barnes had lost his father barely two days ago.

Says the star, "Understandably, Jhalak had to go on. But I was shocked to see Shveta and Rodney at the Sony dandiya party on Thursday night having such a blast.

Anybody who has just lost his dad would not behave like this! So then why did Shveta make that statement on air? For sympathy votes?"

A case of sour grapes? Hmmmm!

may be i dont know..well if she was soo lost in it ..ya why wud they go and dance and enjoy so much in the party 😛

i think independant of the sympathy votes she danced well so deserves to be there. if you ask me she did not seem to be pitching the fact of rodney's father's death to get votes

still she shouldve not danced like crazy on the dandya despite of the fact his finace jus lost his father, but even his finace was there dancing with along with her , so y would she care!! 😕

It seems like she said it on-air to let the world know that she is so dedicated and hardworking and she can perform well under setressful circumstances too but it is pathetic to go to a party with your Finance and have ablast when his father just passed away few days ago.
Performing on JDL cannot be cancelled or postponed but going to a Dandhiya party can be cancelled. After all he was your 'would be Father In Law' whic h is the closest relationship after your Finance.
