Viren kept waking up throughout the night checking on Jeevika and Gia. Gia was sleeping peacefully in her room but Jeevika's fever was getting high. Viren gave her medicine again at 3 in the morning. He covered Jeevika up with blankets making sure she was warm and cozy. Now that he was up, Viren decided to go make himself some coffee and get some work done since he wasn't getting any sleep. He continued checking on both his girls every two hours making sure they were alright.
Gia woke up around 6 and Viren went to pick her up. He brought little Gia to his room and placed her next to Jeevika who was still sleeping. Just then Manvi entered.
manvi - "Goodmorning Jiju, are you alright? Seems like you didn't sleep"
viren - "Actually Jeevika got a fever again at 3 in the morning so I was up. Then I couldn't sleep so I was just finishing my work up until Gia woke up"
manvi - "Jiju why didn't you wake me up? Okay you go rest now I'll take Gia and feed her"
viren - "Okay, thanks. I'm going to go get ready."
Manvi left the room with Gia. She went to the kitchen to get milk for Gia. She fed Gia in her nursery then took her back to her di's room. Jeevika was just waking up and saw Manvi with Gia.
jeevika - "Manu, when did Gia wake up? Why didn't you wake me?"
manvi - "Its okay di, jiju said you had a fever again so I took Gia from jiju. Poor jiju was up all night."
jeevika - "What, he didn't sleep?"
manvi - "No, he said you got a fever again so then he was up all night. Di will you take Gia, I have to go make breakfast."
jeevika - "Yeah" she said as she took Gia in her arms. Manvi left the room.
jeevika - "Goodmorning Gia, feeling better today?" she smiled saying to Gia. Just then Viren entered the room. He first placed his hand on Jeevika's head checking her head making sure she was feeling better.
jeevika - "Virenji I'm fine now, don't worry. I'm sorry you were up all night because of me. You wait here, I'll go make tea for you"
viren - "Jeevs, its okay. You go get ready first. I'll sit here with Gia."
Jeevika went to take a shower. When she came back she saw Viren and Gia sitting on the bed. Gia usually started getting sleepy again so Viren was putting her off to sleep. Jeevika got out all of Viren's stuff and packed his laptop bag. Viren quickly left for work, as he had to cancel his meeting yesterday too. Jeevika was busy cleaning and unpacking from the day before since she fell sick yesterday. After getting everything done she decided to give Virenji a surprise. She felt bad that he hadn't slept last night because of her and left for work early in the morning also. Since Gia was still sleeping, Jeevika went to the kitchen to make Viren's favorite foods. She packed everything and went to her room to get Gia and herself ready. After changing Gia, she told everyone that she was going to Viren's office to give him food and that she was taking Gia with her. Jeevika was quite excited too see Viren's reaction. The driver took the car out and placed the food in the front seat while Jeevika sat in the back with Gia. She was glad Gia had slept earlier so now she would be fresh and happy when she saw her daddy.
As Jeevika entered the office, holding the food in one hand and pushing the stroller with the other she asked his assistant where Viren was.
assistant - "Mam, Sir is in a meeting right now. He should be done in another 20 minutes. I'll take you to his cabin"
Jeevika followed her to the cabin. She looked at how his cabin was filled with pictures of Jeevika and Gia, including the electronic photo frame she got him. As Gia was playing with her toys in the stroller she decided to set up the food for Viren. She took out two plates and put the food on it, waiting for Viren to come. After another 20 minutes Viren entered to see Gia and Jeevika sitting on the sofa.
viren - "Look whose here, my angel" he said picking Gia up from Jeevika's lap.
jeevika - "Virenji, eat first, the foods getting cold."
viren - "Jeevika why did you come? You weren't feeling well. Anyways i could have just ordered something."
jeevika - "You were up all night. Anyways I'm fine now" she said while feeding Viren.
Viren was so happy to see both of them. He played around with Gia who was even more happy to see her dad. After the both of them ate, Jeevika decided to go back home as Virenji still must have had lots of work to do.
viren - "Thank you Jeevika, for this. I'm so glad you and Gia came."
jeevika - "You're welcome. Anyways I'll go home now, and see you in the evening."
viren - "Not so fast, I need one more surprise"
Jeevika instantly knew what Viren wanted with that naughty smile on his face. She gave Viren a small kiss on his cheek and started blushing.
viren - "Thank You, and I love you"
jeevika - "I love you too"
Viren then kissed Gia and then Jeevika and Gia both left.
