This change in their friendship was making Nupur hell confused, she was always curious to talk to him, late night all the day, each and every time.Even now in her dreams her dream boy has been replaced by Mayank.
She has started imagining him every where around her,as his eyes are always seeing her.After thinking a lot she decided there is something between her and Mayank which has certainly crossed the boundries of friendship,and she was actually liking this ,she was enjoying these feelings. Where Nupur was thinking to take this friendship to a new level, she was confirm by now that the bond, the relation she and Mayank shared is not just friendship but something, something beyond that, something more than friendship.But still don't know what comes when the friendship become a more than friendship relation.
She was waiting for Mayank reaction; she wanted Mayank to initiate to take their friendship to new level, to move a step ahead to from friends to more than friends!!!! But Mayank was stick to best friend tag ,he was not moving from it though his talks ,his acts are not like friends but he always thinks that it just his friendship , he needs to understand this new thing ,new level in their friendship,Nupur decided to give him a strong hint.Indirectly she thought to give a signal to Mayank may be he was waiting for her signal as from past few weeks, when she tries to initiate this more than friend type of their relation indirectly, he quickly divert it and just quoted as they are best friends, he never said anything that could even provide her a hint that they are not friends but now have become than friends but his talks had never gave any clue to her, her heart was getting restless from few days. It was evening, the moon has appeared with his moonlight and the houses near by were switching on their street lamps, vendors have started collecting their things and were planning to move their home.
And Nupur was in her deep thought because nowdays Mayank used to add "We are Best Friend Nupur"
In his every talk and now somewhere is had started making her feel low and sad.Unknowingly she dialed Mayank's No. she wanted to talk to him,her heart was craving to hear his voice,may she could able to get a solution while having a sweet chat with him.The bell was ringing so was her reastlessness was increasing soon it get ended as Mayank attended her call. *Hy...!!!Mayank...*
Mayank:*Hy Nupur, How are you?...*
Nupur:*I am fine, you tell??*
Mayank*I am good as usual, one who is having a such a friend with him than he'll be always fit and fine..!!!
* Somewhere in her heart Nupur want Mayank to quote her something else rather than friend. *You know Nupur you are my bestest friend!!!.*

Mayank was making her confused and restless with each passing minute, Nupur could not hold longer and decided to clarify these things face to face, she has been thinking from so many weeks but now it's better to talk face to face.
Nupur:*Mayank I wanna meet you..!!!*
Mayank:*Are you fine Nupur??*
Nupur:*I don't know Mayank!!*
Mayank:*Is something bothering you Nupur?*
Nupur:*Sort of..!!!*
Mayank:*Okay...I have my all ears, tell me..!!!.*
Nupur:*No, Mayank this is something serious...*
Mayank:*Okay...I'll help you out, just tell me...*
Nupur:*No I can't tell you on the phone'...*
Mayank:*Okay let's meet out..!!!.*
Nupur:*Yes..!!!Please...*
Mayank:*Okay...tomorrow 7 p.m the same beach...*
Nupur:*Okay I'll be there ...*
Mayank:*Me tooo..!!!*
Nupur:*Do not get late Mayank...!!!.*
Mayank:*Don't worry...I'll be at time...*
Nupur:*Bye Mayank...!*
Mayank:*By Nupur...*

With that Nupur cut her call off and with heavy heart she had her dinner with her mother, she don't want to show her restlessness else her mother would be worrying about her. Where as Mayank was also little bit tensed, Nupur was never be serious to him, she was looking quite tensed as something really disturbing her, Mayank's heart ache as he couldn't able to solve her problem at this moment only, he was desperately waiting for tomorrow so that he could bring that smile on her face as soon as possible.

At evening both met, they started with casual conversation of hy, hello after sometime Mayank asked her,"What's the matter Nupur, why you were sounding so serious and little bit tensed yesterday, is everything allright.!!!is something bothering you?"
Till then Nupur can't able to meet his gaze,she didn't have courage to even look towards him,this was making him more restless,he again asked her but silence he received from her side ,even she is not looking to him,this was troubling him most.
Mayank (in an authorative tone):"Nupur!!! Look at me..."
After collecting her all courage she looked towards him, Mayank sensed that her eyes were seeking for an answer, she want to ask something from him, but hesitant, he encourage her,"Nupur, I'll keenly listen to you, please tell me..."
Nupur:"Mayank..."
Mayank:"Hmm...Nupur..!!bolo..."
Nupur:"What is my place in your life'?"
Mayank was totally clueless what was Nupur asking, he couldn't able to understand what she actually wanted to ask, what does she meant by it.
Mayank:"Nupur..I am not able to figure out what are you trying to say, mujhe kuch samjh mein nahi AA raha hain, please thosa araam se batao, aakhir baat kya hain"
Mayank was making difficult for Nupur, she was giving him a quite of hint and here he was not getting her point of view, sighing she again spoke
Nupur:"Mayank...What is our relation?" This question was something a very unexpected for Mayank, he couldn't able to figure out what she wants to say, what relation she is quoting...
Mayank:"Nupur..what are you...saying, I am not getting anything...!!! done hesitate, please explain it'what do you mean by saying relation'!!I mean tum kehna kya chahti ho Nupur, mujhe samjh mein nahi AA raha hain; Relation...I mean agar baat relation ki hain to mein to sirf ek relation jaanta hoon that relation which I share with you the relation of friendship a pure friendship and that's why you are my best friend Nupuryou are my very very very best friend, I am so proud of myself of having such a wonderfull peson as my best friend, thank you for being in my life Nupur"
Nupur closed her eyes just to hold her tears back, she doesn't know why but it was hurting her.Whenever he used to quote her as his friend don't know why but now this friend word has statring pinning her heart ,she has expected or rather has started expecting something more from Mayank,something which he could state she is actually more than a friend to him,she wanted him to initiate,wanted him to confront his feelings infront of her but here all he was just saying the same best friend thing again and again,hurting her unintentionally.
Nupur:"Mayank, please give an honest reply'am I'am I your just friend'"
Mayank:" no Nupur you are not just friend to me...* a small smile appeared on her face* you are my bestest friend Nupur'*soon it got vanish when she listen this...*"
Nupur:"Mayank doesn't we share bond that is more than friendship,don't you feel we crossed the boundries of mere friendship and has entered into something new a aura,a new type of sensation,a new feelings and moreover had become more close to each other" *
Nupur's eyes were in full hope,hope that she had able to convey her feelings to him,hope that he may had understood what she was trying to say,hope that he will understand their relationship,hope that he will figure out this unknown change in their relationship,their friendship. But Mayank was unable to understand all this,as if she is talking some alien language to him,he never thought about that,he couldn't able to read her eyes,her expression for the first time he is unable to understand her gestures and feelings,he didn't understood the depthness of what she was conveying to him.
Mayank:"What are you saying Nupur, I have always considered you my best friend nothing more than that'.and you will be always NY best friend Nupur"
Where Mayank was little bit surprised from her question his answer was nothing less than a shock for her,she thought the moments they had shared were may be beyond the boundries of friendship but for him they were just mere connection of friendship nothing more,his words were piercing her heart ,it was paining her a lot,she didn't said any word and left from there.She thought by meeting him she would make him realize about her feelings , his feelings about that they are not just friends now something has changed but his answer,his reaction has shattered her expectations brutaly,she never had imagined his reaction to be like this.It had actually pained her heart to the core,not wanting to show her tears she ran away from there,she do not want to meet his gaze , she was feeling like a fool.
