it seemed tat everybody heard d bullet sound but when jai cam back home he seemed least pertubed by d fact tat there was a bullet fired in a place where he was present knowin fully well tat there already hav been attempts of murder on him

Jai's reaction to the shoot-out was expressionless! That was weird...he indeed did hear the bullet, but he did not hear Bani shouting out his name from the top! He seemed to be undisturbed by the attempt to murder on him!
