I am new here. Hope you will nice and reply to my topics. I am really from the IPK forum and watch Madhubala besides that. This show looks fresh and has the classic elements of Gul's stories so I am very excited about where this will be going. I just started and watched all the episodes to date.
Besides, I love Muslim socials. We have so few. The most recent one I think was Kwaish and it started well and went bust. Muslim socials have not done well since Heena. I watch Hindu socials and love them (IPK), here's hoping the audience will respond to this one as it looks promising. Now that it has a popular actor, I hope people will notice that Muslim socials are really about the same people, loves and trials. But the tehzeeb and tameez is so unique in Urdu-Muslim dramas. I love it! What better than a well behaved guy with good values who is also well rounded?
Now the subject of my topic...
Lovely little feminist we have here. As a NY girl, I can relate. She's so like me. I have scared quite a few street stalkers here by attacking back and it is hardly unique to India. I have found them to be more persistent when I go back to visit though as our desi government and media don't do anything about it. It is a real social problem and I am so glad this soap is showing that.
What I like so much about Asad and Zoya's chemistry is that they challenge each other. They have the same values and are grounded, but they have varied approaches. I loved how she was flirting with him today without even knowing it. He noticed and so did this mother and sister but she didn't! There's an unassuming innocence about her. She really pushes his buttons. I hope she spurns this little Ayaan soon. He's nice but he's too young and immature for her. She is clearly into Asad and he's into her. They think about each other constantly even though one irritates the other. This triangle should be ek tarfa from Ayaan. What do you think?
