So we have two sons of Rashid...and each provokes strong reactions:

Asad: Quiet, gentleman like type. Nice. BUt what about his views???Zoya was apt in saying that he was living in the 17th century, and wants to drag everyone with him there. He sees there superficial things, and it will take time for him to see the truth. One example that I give is that he finds girls who dress in western clothing not to be the type who can handle a home, and be a good wife.

Ayaan: This one irritates me the most. He flirts 24/7. Has no work ethics. Now what goes around comes around. So if someone flirts with his sisters, won't he feel bad? Won't he get angry? Honestly, I find him to be pathetic , and what unnerves me more is the fact that his mother, and grand mother don't correct/reprimand him, and side with his Taaya Abbu.

Hmmm...I see where you're coming from. But I feel any character needs to be flawed at the beginning of a show. Perfect characters have no scope for character growth.

So as far as Asad is concerned, I might not agree with a lot of his ideologies but I feel at this juncture of the show, he is fine. But I do agree with your Ayaan part. I am fond of the character but I wish there was a little more to him. The only depth I see in his character is the fact that he wants both the families of his father to reunite.

I find both the Khan sons nt normal...Asad is nice & all tht bt still i feel he behaves more like a robot than a normal young man...bt may b tht all will change after he falls fr Zoya ...

i dnt knw ...i think i liked KSG more as Armaan ...cud relate myself more to tht character bt Asad no ways !!!!...Ayaan well i nvr ever liked his character ! his crap acting & unimpressive personality .jst pisses me off !...the way he flirts or acts & does stuff ...is jst ...simply so weird !!

asad has lots of positive traits.he is hardworking, sensitive to his family,polite with outsiders (except zoya,but remember she started it all),takes care of his half brother and sisters...i can make a long list.the only negative traits that he has are that he is conservative and a little judgemental.whereas ayaan who has been born in the lap of luxury,is a spoilt brat.he is not serious abt studies,nor work.his redeeming quality is that he loves his siblings and wants to patch up with them.he has known emotional and financial security all his life and asad has had to struggle with need and betrayal since a very young age.both the characters are flawed.lets see what life has in store for them.
