If they weren't cousisns, they would be so cute together. I know some people say that they are far apart in the family tree, and there is nothing wrong about them together. But for me it seems weird. And I know Ayaan won't love Humaira. Isn't this supposed to be a love triangle batween Zoya, Asad and Ayaan...

they are not cousins at all ...her dad just treat ayaan's mom as a sister..so its fine.

well humeira's dad is shireens muh bola bhai in the sense they ain't related by blood at all. 😳

In Islam you can marry your cousins provided he/she isn't the child of your dad's brother, related by blood.

Otherwise it's allowed, except many prefer not to do so.

Besides Humaira and Ayaan are not related since her dad considers his mom as his sister, but is not her brother, related by blood.

They're not related by blood.

Also, cousins can marry each other not just in Islam. Amongst Hindus, people can marry their day's sister's or mom's brother's kids. It was quite common in the past apparently.

In south India, states like Tamil Nadu and Andhra, girls even marry their maternal uncles.

It doesnt matter if they r real cousins or not coz in Islam u can marry ur cousin if u want to its allowed just coz its not normal for some ppl doesnt make it wrong and they should have really made them cousins it would not have mattered but there r too many relatives already with the two wives and kids they needed to add a non related yet connected family
