A lot has been reported about Sanjay Leela Bhansali's debut TV project Saraswati Chandra on Star Plus starring Gautam Rode and Jennifer Winget in the lead.
Though the pilot and the cast for the show were finalized long back, the show never took off. But, after a long delay everything seems to be going right for the project. And according to some reliable sources the first schedule for the show has already been shot in Dubai and the show will go on-air early next month.

Currently, the daily is going through some changes in the cast and the latest actor to join the cast is Aniruddh Singh who was last seen as Adarsh in Star Plus Pratigya.
Sources further informs that Aniruddh will play the role of the male lead's (Gautam Rode) close friend Sunny who will be like a brother to him. Aniruddh will be a parallel lead on the show and he was also a part of outdoor shoots that took place in Dubai.
When contacted, Aniruddh Singh said, "Yes, I am doing the show and I am very happy to be a part of a show like this. I had fun shooting in Dubai and all the co-actors are amazing to work with."
