"Kya hua Saale Sahab, Surprised! I am sure Khushi mujhe daikh ke itna surprised nahi hogi" His voice brought him back to his senses

He came back and now he was threatening him to harm her. No, he can't let anything happen to her, He has to protect her

"DON'T ….. DON'T YOU DARE GO NEAR HER YOU ……" He barked through the phone leaving all the attendents of meeting in a shock, he wasn't paying attention to anything. Arnav hears a mocking laugh in reply and without thinking twice he put down the receiver and taking his mobile phone and car keys he left the cabin. He needs to be there, with her, before Shyam could actually reach her

"Hum … Jeeju ….. humain nahi …. Pata ….hum …. Aap ka intezaar …. Per Jeeju ….. humain laga aap ……"

"Nahi hum ne kuch nahi kiya …. Jeeju khud wahan aaye the ….. aap hamri baat toh ….."

Her words echoed in his head and he feared what if she again think that he mistrust her, No! He has to be there. He dialed her number but it was engaged

He was about to ,ove out of the main door when Aakash met him,

"Bhai, are you going somewhere, what's the hur ……." But he unheard him and moved out

"I'll tell you later Aakash" Aakash wasn't getting anything, he shrugged his shoulders and went to his cabin

"Haan Lavanya hum bilkul theek hain …… acha baba theek hai ……. Hmm" Khushi was busy with Lavanya on the call when someone knocked the door of her cabin

"Hold a second Lavanya" The file which she was reading fell down

"Come In" She said before bending to pick the file

Arnav was constantly dialing her number but it was going engaged. He hit his hand to the stearing frustrated.

"Khushi" He threw his phone to the dasdhboard and sped his car

"M'am Arjun Sir is calling you to his cabin" She looked up at the door, it was peon.

"Acha hum abhi aate hain" She said

"Lavanya hum phir baat karein ge, ok bye" She kept the phone on table and left the cabin, as soon she left someone entered in her cabin

The car was stopped at a traffic signal when his phone rang, he quickly took it

"Khushi" He picked the call instantly

"Khushi where were you? Main kab se call ker raha hoon, tum phone kyun nahi utha ……."

"Arnav" He stopped as soon he heard him, so he reached there but why Khushi's mobile was with him. Fear overtook him in fraction of second

"Tum …. Khushi kahan hai? ….. Ky …. Kya kiya tum ne Khushi ko?" Breaking the signal he drove his car escaping from the traffic from sides, the only thought in his mind was is to save Khushi, to get her the feeling she was not alone, he was with her

"Hello … hello …. KYA KIYA TUM NE KHUSHI ….." The call was disconnected from other end. There he was. He stopped his car not even bother to park it and ran to the building

"Arnav Ji, Last Dialled Call, Deleted" He smirked and left the cabin

"KHUSHI" He pushed the door of her cabin open but it was empty and it filled his heart with fear, so did he took her with him!

"NO"

"Sir, are you looking for Ms. Raizada" He turned quickly at the voice and not able to speak anything just nodded

"She is in meeting with Arjun Sir" The other employee told him

"T … Thanks" He rushed to his office and without bothering to knock he opened the door

"Khushi" He scanned through the room and as his eyes fell on her sitting there he breath a sigh of relief

Khushi who was busy noting down the points looked up as the door opened even her boss stopped dictating. She was surprised to see him there

"Aa … aap" She got up from the seat but before she could comprehend anything his next act left her shocked

As soon he heard her voice, all his fear gone, the only thought in his mind was to comfort her so he went to her and pulled her in a tight embrace.

"Where were you Khushi? Do you have any idea ke main kitna pareshaan ho gaya tha …. Agar … tumhain ….. kuch ….ho ….jaata …toh ….." He pressed her into him and she almost choked feeling it difficult even to breathe, she was not getting anything, first he came here and now he was hugging her in front of her boss

"Hum … theek hain" She hardly managed to speak trying to pull away but it only cause his grip to be tighten on her, Now she was feeling suffocated

"Arnav" as soon he heard a third voice he realized where he was! He parted himself from her and stared at her. She was breathing heavily and it instantly worried her

"Khus ….. Khushi you ok? Sit here" He made her sit on the chair and then taking glass from the table made her drink the water, It took some moments to calm her nerves

"You ok now?" He asked cupping her face and she just nodded

"Arnav is everything fine? I mean you are looking worried" As Arjun asked he straightened and suddenly felt embarrassed for the intrusion

"Yeah I am ok … thanks" He said while Khushi was staring them confusingly, it means they knew each other, lookin at her confused form Arjun explained

"Don't be so surprised Khushi, Arnav and I are best friends since our school days" He said sitting back to his chair and Arnav too seated himself beside Khushi

"Yeh aur Arjun sir dost hain? Aur yeh yahan kya ker rahe hain woh bhi …." She glanced at Arnav who was sweating as if he came running from marathon, "Iss tarha se….aakhir baat kya hai"

"Ok now, stop this all Arjun…. Well kya meri wife kuch holidays le sakti hai" She looked at Arnav bewildered

"Per Kyun?" Before Arjun can reply she asked him

"Actually …. I want to take you out for some days" Arnav replied

"What?" She exclaimed surprised

"Woww that's great, well she is all yours, you can take her anytime, anywhere" Arjun said winking at him

"Thanks" Arnav smiled and holding Khushi's hand took her out of the office

"Aap yeh kya ker rahe hain … aap ….." Beofre she could ask anything his phone beeped and he picked the call

"Aaj toh tum ne usse bacha liya Arnav per agli baar yaad rakhna main dhamki nahi doon ga, I'll take her away from you, waise I am sure Khushi ko tum ne apne pehle pyar ke barre mein nahi bataya ho ga shayad main iss mein tumhari help ker sakoon"

Arnav felt like punching him hard if he were in front of him but then he controlled himself for the sake of Khushi who was staring him curiously as his face turned red because of sudden anger

"We'll talk about it later" Arnav disconnected the call and again held Khushi's hand

"Hum iss tarha se nahi ja sakte hamare exams, hamara office work ….."

"Everything will be managed" He stopped her from saying any further and she thought it's better to be quiet and not ask him anything as he was in no mood to listen anything
