I have nothing against the "six pack" part of the epi today, really I don't. In fact I have watched that one scene - hmm 10 times??? Will be going back again.
BUT - the reason for this post is about the clash between Asad and Zoya in the first part of the show. Asad held nothing back when he told Zoya what he thought of her, her behavior, and her clothes.
Then it was Zoya's turn and WOW did she get to have the last word or what???
I loved her dialogue, i loved how she was calm and basically I loved her approach. She was strong, clear and bang on right. "Tehzeeb aur tameez dil mein hote hai Mr.Khan, jeans mein nahin"
WOW. 😲 I have new respect for this one.
And she is so right. I know many ppl, I will not say Muslims or Catholics or hindus etc. I will say ppl who dress appropriately, behave in public appropriately, pray and behave etc. But behind that mask I have seen greed, back biting, jealousy and how they talk!!!!! My mother would slap me if I talked like that!
Zoya can dress how she pleases, she is a good person who cares about ppl and I cannot see her hurting someone on purpose.
Excellent performance today, excellent dialogue today and an excellent episode today.
The six pack was a cherry on top!
