Viren and Jeevika checked out of the resort at 7 am. They wanted to go back home so eagerly. Jeevika had a tough time sleeping at night as she kept waking up thinking to go check on Gia. She knew everyone must have taken good care of her, but still. When the both of them got home they went to the nursery as it was still pretty early and Gia must have been sleeping. There they saw Manvi with a crying Gia trying to calm her down on the rocking chair. Viren and Jeevika got a little worried. Manvi handed her over to Jeevika as she started asking what happened.
manvi - "Di, Gia has a little bit of a fever. The doctor said it would happen because of the vaccines and she had given medicines yesterday just in case something happened. She actually slept in my room last night as I didn't want her to be away from me at night incase she started feeling sick. But she woke up around 5 this morning with a fever and I gave her medicine. I just gave her some food too, and I think she's getting a temperature again, thats why she started crying."
Jeevika just held her baby in her arms calming her down. Manvi handed her Gia's bottle and she sat down in the nursery feeding her. Jeevika started feeling guilty for leaving and wished she never went. Manvi started feeling guilty too as if she didn't take good care of her niece.
viren - "Jeevika relax, she will be okay. The doctor said its normal. And Manvi you relax too, don't stress. You didn't do anything wrong"
Soon Virat came in with breakfast for Manvi as he didn't know Viren and Jeevika were back.
virat - "Bhai, bhabhi you are back already? I had just brought Manvi breakfast since she was up since morning taking care of Gia. I'll go get you guys something to eat too"
viren - "No, its okay Virat we will eat in a bit. Manvi go to you're room and eat. You must be tired to"
manvi - "No jiju its okay. I'll eat later."
jeevika - "Mannu don't be stubborn. Gia has kept you up for so long. Don't worry she'll be fine. Virat go take her"
Virat and Manvi left the room and Viren Jeevika walked back to their bedroom with Gia. Jeevika checked her temperature and it was still at 101. Jeevika placed Gia on her bed and covered her up with the blanket. Viren sat next to Gia holding her little hand.
jeevika - "Virenji let me go get the medicine from Manvi. I think I should give her the medicine again if Manvi gave it at 5 this morning."
Jeevika left the room and went towards Manvi's. She heard crying noises and was listening to Virat and Manvi.
virat - "Manvi relax, she didn't get a fever because of you. The doctor said it would happen right. Don't stress she will be fine"
Jeevika entered
jeevika - "Mannu stop crying. Gia couldn't get a better masi than you. It's not yous fault. Please listen to Virat now and eat your food. If you don't I'll sit here and feed you first"
manvi - "No di, you go take care of Gia. I'll eat don't worry."
jeevika - "Promise?"
manvi - "Promise"
jeevika - "Okay mannu give me her medicine that the doctor gave. Her temperature is rising again"
Manvi handed jeevika the medicine and she left. She went back to her room to see Gia crying again real loudly and Viren trying to get her to quiet down. Jeevika grabbed the spoon and put the required amount of medicine on it and gave it to Gia who was still in Viren's lap.
jeevika - "I think she should be better in a little bit. Here, you go eat breakfast and I'll sit here with Gia. I''ll eat after you."
viren - "No, its okay. We'll eat together."
jeevika - "But virenji, don't you have to go to work today?"
viren - "No, I had one meeting but I postponed it to tomorrow. I don't want to go anywhere right now"
Viren and Jeevika were stayed in the room not wanting to leave Gia at all. She was soon asleep holding onto both her parents fingers.
jeevika - "Virenji, when I went to go get Gia's medicine from Manvi she was crying and not eating"
viren - "Why?"
jeevika - "She was tensed that she didn't take care of Gia properly. Then i explained to her and told Virat to feed her. Because of Gia she's been up so early taking care of her."
viren - "I know, but it's okay now the both of us are here. Hopefully Gia will be better in a few hours."
Soon Vanshika came in and told both Viren and Jeevika to go eat something and that she would stay here with Gia. Both Viren and Jeevika went to the table and saw everyone finished eating. They both sat down and started eating. Both of them ate fast so they could go back to their room. After finishing Viren went to go make a phone call and Jeevika went back to her room. Jeevika just sat their on the bed monitoring Gia's fever, not wanting to do anything else but hold her baby. She ended up falling asleep with Gia. Viren entered to see both of them sleeping and he couldn't stop staring at them. He covered both of them with a blanket and left.
