A question

I have a question reguarding the hindu godesses. Why do we call a goddess mother? Eg maa kali, maa durga ext.

What else should we call her?

because she is mother of universe

It depends on what relationship u keep with God.If u feel that God is my friend who is with me all the time like a true friend then God is ur friend.Similarly if u feel that Godesses are my mothers and we are all their children then they are our mothers.So it depends upon a individual as to what relationship he/she has to create with God.Meera called Krishna her husband and started worshipping him.So that's her way of devotion.

Main bhi aap sabhi ke baato se sahmat hun. Phir bhi main aap logo se ek aur sawal puch na chahta hun. Aap logo mein se kaun kis bhagvaan ko maan te hain aur aap unse kaunsa rishta rakhte hain?
