Aakash could not believe what Arnav just told him

"What? Bhai ……. You mean …… Jeeju …. And …… Khushi …… and ……. You ……" It was just unbelievable, His Jeeju whom he respected always and his sister, no this can't be true

"Yes Aakash and ….. please don't take Khushi wrong, she was … and she is innocent" Arnav said and Aakash could clerly feel the guilt in his voice

"Promise me Aakash whatever I told you it will remain between two of us" Aakash nodded his head and assured him he won't tell about this to anyone

"Don't worry Bhai"

Arnav slightly shifted on his seat and Aakash could tell he was still restless, so he asked

"Bhai is there any other thing you want to share"

Arnav looked at him blankly and then he simply nodded, "Yes but you will not disclose it to anyone……. Not even Payal"

Now Aakash was curious what is it which he can't share with anyone

"What's it Bhai?"

"I can't take the burden anymore Aakash ….. I am tired of hiding it and running away from the truth" Tears were glistening in his eyes and Aakash knew it is something serious because except Anjali he never break down in front of anyone

In evening Aakash and Arnav came back home together and the first sight they witnessed was the ladies of the house enjoying in the living room. It seemed Payal and Khushi just came back from shopping and now they were showing it to Anjali. Aakash looked at Arnav and then pressed his hands, he turned to Aakash

"Relax Bhai"

Arnav tried to smile, "I am fine Aakash"

They stepped forward, "Hi everyone" saying it Arnav just headed to his room while Khushi's smiling lips shrink and her blabbering stopped, Aakash noticed it, he sat beside Khushi

"So princess kya shopping ki?"

Khushi showed Aakash her shopping and Aakash couldn't help but to think again what Arnav told him. In these three years he considered his brother wrong but now when he knew the truth he was worried, worried for his sisters, Anjali who loves Shyam unconditionally and Khushi who has suffered so much already and if Shyam came back from his trip then situation will going to be worse, he has to do something! But what can he do

Khushi knocked the door of his room …. No their room and as she heard "Come In" she opening the door slightly entered in

Arnav looked up at her; she was standing at the door with her eyes closed. He could see she was not comfortable still in this room

"Khushi you can stay in your room, I have no problem" He said and she opened her eyes slowly

"Nahi … hum ….. hum apne room mein hi the per …. Humain darr lag raha tha toh ….." Now she was looking down, Arnav got up from the bed and went to her

"Ok come with me" He held her hand and take her back to her room, He made her sit on the bed and sat beside her

"I am here, you can sleep now" He got up while she was just staring at him in an unbelievable expression, He was behaving with her all different since she came back home, Had he forgotten really what happened three years before? Was he repenting on what he did to her? He laid down confusingly, he pulled the quilt on her and turned to switch off the light when she stopped him holding his hand

"Nahi light off mat kijiye" Saying it she quickly closed her eyes while he turned again towards her, he tried releasing his hand from her grip but her grip only tighten, she did not know what she was doing, soon she fell asleep while Arnav stood there as it is for hours staring at her innocent face, feeling sleeping he once again tried to remove his hands but she wasn't letting him move, he sighed and sat on the floor holding her hand and resting his head with the edge of bed, he fell asleep

Khushi woke up as the sunlight hit her face, she turned and for a moment she stunned at the sight, first she hasn't wake up because of any nightmare. Second, seeing at him who was sleeping on the floor without any quilt on him just his T-Shirt, well he can sleep on the bed or maybe on recliner, she thought but then her eyes went to their hands, she remembered all of a sudden that it was she who stopped him at night. She couldn't help but to stare at him, he was looking like a cute and innocent baby in his sleep but only she knew what she had to went through because of just his one decision.

"No Khushi, you have to be strong, tum sub kuch itni jaldi nahi bhool sakti" She reminded herself and then she went back 5 years

She knocked the door frightened and he as usual annoyingly welcomed her

"What are you doing here?" he asked furiously and she who came here to ask him if he could come along with her in her room as she was afraid there being alone taken aback

"Ab aise moun khol ke mujhe kya daikh rahi ho" He was irritated now

"Arn …. Arnav Bhiya hum … humain akele apne room mein ….. darr lag raha hai" She managed to speak

"So" He shrugged his shoulders, "What can I do?" He again turned back to his books which was an indication that she can leave now but she can't go back because of her fear

"Sub …. Sub shaadi mein … gaye hain …. Aur …. Aur …. Hum ….." She was stammering when he cut her sentence

"Main ne sub ko nahi kaha jaane ke liye, aur agar tumhain itna hi darr lag raha tha toh tumhain bhi saath jana chahiye tha"

"Hum kaise ja sakte hain …. Hummare exams ho rahe hain" Now her eyes were getting moist

"Khushi I am telling you the last time just get out of here, I don't care tumhain darr lag raha hai ya nahi" Arnav said firmly

"Per …." She just opened her mouth to speak when he stopped her again

"LEAVE NOW KHUSHI" He pressed and she silently came out of his room with tears in her eyes

Only she knew how she had spent that long night alone in her room and now all of a sudden he was caring her, but it cannot change the fact that he always treated her wrong. She sighed and then shook his shoulder to wake him up

Arnav opened his eyes feeling someone's hand on his shoulder. His eyes shot open as his gaze met with hers. In a second he got up and without even glancing her again he left the room leaving her shocked behind

Khushi came to the office after her college as she has already missed four days of her work now she was trying to meet with her missing work. She was once again thinking about her and Arnav's strange relationship, still she felt this relationship to be odd and awkward, if she do not count the past three years or what Arnav did to her at their wedding night, still if she ever try thinking this marriage to be a normal she can't. Sometimes she think that Arnav was right in taking the decision of divorce at least in that case they don't need to face the awkwardness of being around each other.

"Maybe some day everything gets normal" It was her optimism which may turn true some day. She smiled at her thoughts.

Arnav was in his cabin attending a meeting when his phone rang. He without looking at screen switched off the phone and continued the presentation. After few seconds his landline number rang, he thought of putting receiver at side but then he picked the call

"Hello"

"Mehta Designing Group, Floor 10, Room No 4" The smirking voice through the phone was enough to make him forget his surrounding. HE was calling him and the address he spoke was the same where Khushi's office was!

"I am standing right in front of the building" Arnav's face turned pale so fast so what he was scared of is now happening! No he can't let this happen yet again. He has to stop him.
