First of all, please don't be so sarcastic when it comes to Purvi and her sacrifice. She did what she thought was best to stop her mother's family from shattering. Please atleast see the love she has for her mother and respect the fact that she chose her mother(who raised her for 18 years) and not the lover(whom she had met just 4/5 months back)

If she had not taken that step then it is very much possible that Teju would not have tried to re-unite ArMan or even if she tried, Ovi would surely come in b/w and she would make sure that Archana was punished for letting Purvi marry Arjun.
