||CHAPTER 2||

Swayam entered the classroom.. there were only two seats left one besided Rihan n the other beside Sharon.. he was abt to take the seat besides Sharon when Rihan stood from his place n stopped him.. neither Rihan was ready to let Swayam take the place next to Sharon nor was Swayam ready to leave n take some other seat..

Swayam looked at Sharon.. she pretended to be unaffected.. his presence or absence didn't matter to her.. no more.. She looked different.. not as earlier.. she carried a lot of attitude n a lot more that was all hidden inside her.. feeling n emotions were now unknown to her..

A girl who earlier just lived for emotions n feelings of her loved ones now felt nothing such existed.. she was heart broken.. but she had even learnt to compose herself n overcome her feelings.. she no more appeared to be the bore n typical middle class girl that she did earlier.. she has changed a lot.. things n incidents made her change herself.. but she accepted the fact that nothing in the world is with u for life long.. everything has to be paid off.. there's a value that is to be paid for everything.. but emotions are worth nothing..

Rihan was abt to take the place when the professor entered who asked everyone to settle down.. "didn't u boys hear me.. take ur seats" he turned to the board to write the topic but when he faced the class he saw the boys still at the same place.. he looked at Sharon "are u both interested in the class or in the girl" he glared.. the class giggled.. "May I come in sir?" Tina said panting.. he looked at her n questioned "miss r u in this class" "yes sir" still panting hard "but I never saw u.. new?" "yes sir" trying to catch her breathe.. "y r u out of breathe" he asked doubtfully.. "Sir I didn't want to get late for my first lecture but I guess I am already late" she sighed.. "you may get inside" he allowed her "but next time don't be late" he added "sure sir" her face beamed.. her eyes met Swayam's she didn't want to look at him.. the professor saw the boys "u two occupy the last bench.. n u Miss. Newbie sit with Sharon" he ordered them.. finally the class started.. Swayam avoided Rihan who constantly was glaring him.. while Swayam was looking at Sharon who was changed just because of his mistake.. he so wished to talk to her for once.. but only he knew whatever he does will lead to nothing.. he will never be able to amend his mistake in any manner.. neither cud he protect his so-called relationship nor cud he try once more for it.. he had nothing left with him.. nor his best friend by his side, to support him nor her who cud make him overcome all sorrows..

He was lost in his own thoughts when the professor declared the project, group project.. he was calling out the names of the group members when he announced Tina n Rihan as group mates n Sharon n Swayam.. "Sir trust me I didn't mean to" Swayam al of a sudden stood from his seat hearing his name along with Sharon.. leaving everyone puzzled but Sharon looked back at him.. their eyes met.. locked until the professor snapped his fingers to grab their attention.. "will u stop day dreaming Mr. Shekhawat.. I am here to announce the group mates n not anything else" Swayam sat down embarrassed. The class soon left while the 4 gathered around the professor.. Swayam had sensed the uneasiness that was aroused in Sharon due to them being group mates.. Tina n Rihan cudnt stand eachother.. Rihan was more worried for Sharon.. he didn't wanted Swayam to hurt his best friend once again.. while the professor was collecting his belongings, he sensed them "whats the problem with u all" he asked without looking at them.. "sir we want to switch our partners" Rihan spitted.. "so do u wanna join Swayam" he looked at him to see him boiling "or the lady" he said pointing at Sharon but before Rihan cud speak anything "sorry my boy but u don't have the right to choose ur partner" the professor gave a nod n left.

"but sir" Rihan tried but the professor kept nodding, walking out of the class n soon disappeared. Tina cleared a throat grabbing their attention n be glared by Rihan.

"okay I know u guys don't like to work in groups n I agree the reason is justified but its just a project.. a matter of a few days.. I guess we have to tolerate our group-mates company for the time being" Tina gave her opinion which wasn't liked much by Rihan. "n u think this will work" he said gritting his teeth. "as if we have a choice" Sharon let out a deep breathe.. "we have to do this.. we have no choice n with out future at stake we gotta do it" she added.

"I'll mail u the information that I will collect n u mail me urs" she said avoiding his gaze. "n that's the only way we gonna communicate *pause* for the project" saying so she left.

"I am not interested to work with u" Rihan announced. "neither m I" Tina shot an interested look "well y do u feel I, out of all the chics I'll be interested to work with u?" she was disgusted n so was he. "n it's a matter of fact we don't have a choice neither the marks are in our hands.. so we gotta work" she shot a fake smile.
