On the 15th of April, in the year of the horse, 1990, a girl named Emma CharlotteFrance, but moved to Oxfordshire when she was 5 years old. While they were in France, Jaqueline and Chris got a son, Emma's little brother, Alex, who is 3 years younger than her. Around this time they decided to get a divorce (in summer of 1995) and Emma and Alex ended up living with their mother, occationly visiting their dad every weekend they could in London. Duerre Watson was born. Her lucky parent's were the two lawyers, Jaqueline and Chris Watson. During Emma's first years of living, they recided in Paris,

Emma showed interest in acting very ealry. When her grandmother, Freda once asked her what she would like to become, she answered "I want to be a fairy, a princess, a queen or a 'matress'" (actress). What neither Emma's parents, or Emma herself knew was that one of her dreams would come true.

When Emma started school she turned out to be quite creative, and one of her favourite subjects was drama. She also thorughly enjoyed art and sports.

She did many plays with her drama group, taking the lead role in several of them. The Happy Prince, Alice in Wonderland and Arthur: the Younger years are only a few of them. She was also very talented in other creative areas. In 1997, at the age of six, she won first plrize for her poetry recital in The Daisy Pratt Poetry Competition held at her school, and recieved a little award.



A few years later, Emma and some of her fellow drama students were held back after drama class. The teacher told them that there were going to be auditions for the upcoming Harry Potter movieaudition. Emma went with a couple of classmates to the audition, just for some fun, she didn't expect anything at all. But Emma was one of the few people who were called in for a second audition. After several auditions, they kept calling her back for more and it got more serious every time. , and asked if they would like to

After weeks of auditions she was called back again, and thought "not another audition". But this time it was different. She was escorted in to David Heyemans office together with Rupert Grint where they were told that they had the parts of Hermione Granger and Ronald Weasly. Emma was so happy she couldn't believe it.

For the role of Hermione the casting directors looked for a bossy person. Emma WatsonDevenir as she presaged that fame was not positive at all – has she already experienced some of the bad sides?
To the question "what was her wish", she answered:
"Probably I'll wish to have two friends, which stay – people with whom you can always be together and who don't scoot because you are a filmstar." apparently implements this requirement, because she looks to have a lot of self-confidence. She seems to be a real Star in

Thus Emma made her on-screen debut as one of Harry Potter's best friends, Hermione Granger (Hermione through the years). So far she has been in the four first Harry Potter moviesseveral awards for her performances in the movies. Though it's not certain if she will continue acting. We can really only hope. , and now spends her days shooting the fifth one. She has won

When off filming, Emma attends an all-girl school i Oxford, called Headington. They mostly focus on sports and other 'creative' subjects. Since she was little Emma has enjoyed sports very much and is now playing hockey, tennis and rounders for her school team. Her enthusiasm about Field Hockey most probably came from her mother who had played Field Hockey for the city team. She enjoys hanging out with her group of friends, go shopping, and on a few occasions says that she likes debating.
