Cleanliness freak is exactly what I'd call Asad...it's abit too much.

I think Asad has Obsessive–compulsive personality disorder which is a characterized by a pattern of preoccupation with orderliness, perfectionism, mental and interpersonal control at the expense of flexibility, openness, and efficiency

Such people have a pattern of extreme perfectionism, preoccupation with neatness and detail, and a requirement or need for control or power over one's environment They are usually inflexible and extremely controlling. They may find it hard to relax, and feel the need to plan out their activities down to the minute. (Wiki)

I find this describes him to the "T"

I also do not think he is "making" anyone do anything, they pander to his idiosyncrasies because they know that "these things" bother him.

ok its good to be organized and give importance to cleanliness but asad is a little too much...

every time when he sits for dinner, he finds some spots and make his sister clean them..so if has a problem, why cant he clean it himself??

its obvious nothing can be perfect, he's living in a home not hotel

does anyone agree that this nature of asad is too much or do you thing its ok

sometimes its irritating bt i love trhe way asad was looking at cups on table and then asking his siter to clean them..chalta hain yaar...😆😆😆😆😆

i understand what you are trying to say, that asad had a hard life and he learned most of the things himself without a father... but i dont think being a cleanliness freak is a result of this hardship...there are some people who are like that by nature even without any hardships...

besides if asad is so used to taking care of small small things all by himself, he should clean those mugs and table himself too not ask his sister to do it... 😳

See lots of people behave like this without a reason.
But asad behave like this largely due to his past struggle.
If you closely look you will see normaly those person who rise doing a lot of struggle,hardship,shaken family are like to do work more organised way and care every small thing than others.
Compare a person who is rich by his hardwork with no familly legacy with a rich person who is rich by generation.
Than say who is more organised.
Najma is little messy and relax because she does not go with hardship.
But asad wants to make her organised disciplined person.
If you look carefuly asad completely take care of cleaning of his bed room.

Asad also take care of not to creat any mess in dinning table.
He never creat mess in dining table and say najma to clear it.
Like he never himself throw water in dining table and say najma clean it.
The little mess created in dining table by najma not asad.
So he tells najma there has little mess in dining table by you and you have to clean it.
If anyday asad himself creat mess in dining table and say najma clean it than you can complain.
And if i am not wrong najma take dining table prepration as her household work.
Asad belives in perfection in every work.
Relaxing and flaw in any work is not acceptable to asad.
