It has already been three months since Zoya started living with Asad's family and even
though Asad is still strict towards her he does not judge her by her behaviour
anymore. Zoya has been having the same nightmare every single night since she
started living with them and despite the fact that she tries her best to hide
her emotions Asad has seen extreme pain in her eyes. If there is one thing he
has understood about Zoya in this short time he has known her is that she is
carrying some kind of pain in her heart which she tries to hide behind her
smiling face. She might have managed to make the whole world believe that she
is happy but not Asad Ahmad Khan. Asad could clearly see that her smiles never
reach her eyes and he could see the immense pain in them. The reason why he
could see her pain was because they were both doing the same thing. She was
hiding her pain behind her smile while he was hiding his behind his hard
exterior. What he really wanted to know was what had caused her so much pain
that comes to haunt her every single night

tries his best to hide from his ammi and his tamatar. His home has changed a
lot with Zoya's arrival. It's like she has breathed life into all of them.
Seeing the happy faces of his ammi and his baby sister is an everyday occurrence
for him now. His ammi now laughs freely and his sister is not scared to speak
to him anymore. Zoya has filled his home with light and laughter despite the
pain she is hiding in her heart. He can't believe he once told his ammi that
she is a selfish girl who only thinks about herself and he wants her out of
this house as soon as possible. Now he can't even think about her not being
there as she was now part of his family and he has a soft corner for her in his
heart. He has been wanting to ask her about her nightmares for the past three
months but he didn't as he knows that she will not talk about it. According to
him Zoya only knows how to spread happiness but she does not know how to share
her pain but he would do anything to take her pain away if only she would let
him.

As far as Zoya is concerned she loves Asad's family and she can't imagine leaving them
now. Asad is not as bad as she thought he was in the beginning. He is still
strict with her which infuriates her and his obsession with cleanliness gets on
her nerves but she knows that he is in pain too just like her. Zoya also knows
that Asad has seen her pain in her eyes and wants to ask her about it. She thanked
Allah Miyan that he has not managed to ask her yet since she was not sure she
would be able to hide the reason of her pain from him. She would definitely break
down in front of him especially now that she was so close to finding out the
truth about her Abbu. She had managed to locate the old mansion she was living
in with her ammi and an old neighbour had agreed to talk to her about her ammi
and abbu after a lot of persuasion from Zoya.

Zoya went to the breakfast table and sat down quietly after wishing everyone good morning
and started having her breakfast. Asad noticed how quiet she was and knew that
something was wrong but his ammi and baby sister would probably have a heart
attack if they see him showing concern towards Zoya. Thankfully his ammi who
also found Zoya's silence odd asked her

Dilshad: Kya
hua Zoya. Aaj aap inti khamosh kyon hain. Is everything ok?

Zoya: Ji
phuppi. Everything is fine. I just have to meet someone today bas ussi ke bare
mein soch rahi thi. Ek bohot zaroori kaam hai. Aap Allah miyan se dua kijiyer
ke mera kaam ho jaye.

Dilshad:
Zaroor beta. Insha'allah you will definitely succeed.

Saying so Dilshaad caressed Zoya's hair and kissed her forehead. Zoya controlled her
tears which were threating to spill since she was reminded of her ammi and gave
Dilshaad a tight hug. Seeing Zoya so emotionally weak Asad cleared his throat
and said

Asad: Zoya
give me the address where you want to go and I'll drop you.

Zoya quietly gave Asad the address and followed him out of the house. If Dilshaad and Nazma
noticed how Asad authoritatively told Zoya he will drop her off and she
complied without arguing they did not comment on it as even they have noticed
the change in both their behaviours for the past three months.

Asad dropped Zoya off and told her to give him a call when she wants him to pick her up and
Zoya agreed.
