Happy Diwali: STAR Plus characters share their family customs

| ||
Diwali is here and our STAR Plus characters are all set to celebrate it with a bang. But what is the one thing they follow as a family custom and do not wish to miss for anything in the world. Hear it straight from them.
Jeevika
Govardhan puja is something which our whole family comes together to perform. It is performed on the fourth day of Diwali. This pooja is carried out with great gusto and ebullience in Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. I enjoy everything that goes along with this pooja.
Akshara
After marriage, Naitik and I have started our own little tradition of making diyas for Diwali. We don't buy them from outside stores but prefer to make them by our own hands. The family also joins in sometime if they wish to but mostly it's Naitik and I who make diyas. It brings us closer and gives a reason to do something together.
Sooraj
Diwali is incomplete without a diya, colourful rangoli and sweets. Though I am a halwai, I still crave for homemade sweets prepared by Bhabhoo. Our house tradition is to be together on every good occasion and festival. Being together and celebrating festivals only makes bonds stronger.
Sushila
I have always made Rangoli for Diwali at home. I love to do it and believe it's a tradition of our family as our whole family sits together while women of the house make Rangoli. The whole Diwali celebration ambience is created in no time
These are a few family customs, that have been followed through generations, that our STAR plus characters love and want to pass on to their next generation. Do let us know which family tradition you follow or would follow.
Happy Diwali..!!.
