Maan came a little late one night and saw lots of lady'sfrom nearby Villa and some Dadima's gropu lady, all gathered around.

His eyes searched for Geet as he knew Mohit must be asleep by now. He found Geet looking so beautiful among all ladies and in her pink chunri saari, which had light shiny workin border. She looked so delicate. All ladies were busy looking down and so was Geet.

Maan coughed toget attention

"Maan bete, today you are not going to be served by your wife. Spend this night without your wife, we have kidnapped her"

Maan did not understand but did not like the idea of Geet being kidnapped for night, Geet looked at him and very well knew his plight.

She stood up from between the ladies,while ladies hooted and teased.Geet blushed, looked down and without saying anything showed her Mehndi to Maan and signaled him to see, all ladies were having Mehndi.

Geet's hand looked so beautiful and Geet was looking like a new bride with her traditional attire and her Mehndi, she was smiling like a new bride .Maan could not believe he was s lucky to get his Geet almost back.

She was enjoying all girly things like normal girl in love.

"Kaisa hai" she asked pointing Menhdi ignoring shyly all the teasing women were doing.

"Beautiful" and Maan out of reflex bent to kiss her cheeks when he realized everyone's eyes were on them'

"Ker le ker le Maan beta ,humse kya sharmana" Maan took it as challenge, these ladies were Dadima's friend and knew Maan since childhood

"Haan haan kyun nahi,biwi hai meri" and he not only kissed her cheek but picked her in his arms,making Geet all blushy blshy

"And I can't leave my wife being kidnapped whole night" All ladies laughed but Maan was with Geet.

When Maan reached their room, heclosed it fromhis foot and laid Geet on bed

"Maan what is this, does anyone does like this. All ladies are here,aur ek raat ke to baat hai"

"haan its one whole night, how can you imagine I will leave you'and why are they here and why is mansion all decorated with flowers'"

He took her hand in his "and what's this mehndi for"

"Budhoo, tomorrow is Karvachauthand I am doing it for first time" Geet was so excited. Maan liked Geet's excitement and her taking interest in everything but Karvachauth, he did not approve.

"Karvachath, why. You never do it" "Bt this time I am doing it" "no you are not, I do not approve it and yo have to saty hungry whole day,no way"

"What no way,I am doing it. This is for family, I want happiness for my family"

"this is for husband,I know it and you do not need to do it, I am saying na. And first thing tomorrow I will feed you"

"yeh kya zidd hai,all women do it,why not me"

"first, you will not stay hungry, abhi abhi medicine stop hua hai and you are thinking of fasting,no way and then you did not do it before,why now."

"I was not in my senses now and now when I amin my senses Maan,how can I leave karva chath.You know na what you mean to me and knowing what karvachauth is, how can you even imagine I will not do"

"Nothing will happen to monster like me, Geet allmy life is for you not that making you dofast for me."

"It's a wife's right and you cannot take it away."Both got upset and slept, but by midnight they were in each other's embrace and then making love.

Karva chauth Morning:

First thing Maan did was to bring breakfast for Geet but Geet just avoided and went for washroom.

Whole afternoon,Geet was busy with Dadima and other ladies while maan was pulling her away from crowd with plate in his hand to feed her.

"Geet yeh karva chauth hai na" "haan, thank god you realized" "yes, so on karvacahuth you shold listen to your husband, haina" and he forwarded the plate.

"Maan,this is not working,better not try" and she again ran away to women's.

Maan was whole day upset,he did not like at all the idea of Geet doing fast for monster like him and that too fast when she is just getting better.

But Geet was admant,she saw Maan pset, tried to please himbt he did not talk to her.

In the evening Maan did not look up when he felt Geet was in room doing something but then he heard her bangles jingling soundnear his ear, he could not holdand was achout to catch her hard but thn his eyes went on her.

She was in red Saari alldecorated for karva chauth like a bride,she looked so pure and her beauty was radiating as if in whole room,for few moments he just got lost and slowly his mind drifted in time when they had been married.

How he had married her when she was unconscious and how he himself was in no senses when marriage was happeningand after marriage, did he ever had aproper suhag raat with her,to make her feellike a normal girl..NO.Few days back was she not right to deny their relation as Husband and wife. Does he deserve this normal life,the answer was simply NO forhimand here she like a normal wife is doing karva chauth for him.. FOR HIM, this caught his attention

He got up,Geet smiled "How do I look"

She asked as if everything was so normal in theirlife,though nothing actually was,he had spoilt and crushed all her happiness.

He cupped her face in his palms "Beautiful, out of this world as always." But soon he held her both hands inhis

"why are you doing all this,don't do this all for me,I don't deserve these Geet."

"Bas ho gaya,see now we are about to do puja and then everyone will be on terrace,I want you there.Get ready in some traditional dress, Shadi kee sherwani" but soon "I mean any traditional dress" realizing he does not have Shadi dress,their marriage had just happened,how she does not even remember.

She immediately chaged the topic "Chalo chalo,get ready fast."

Then after few while,all wife and husbands were standing in front of each other, Geet likeothers looked the moon and then Maan, Maan fed her water and food but there was a different determination in Maan's eyes.

All rituals were done.
