Jeevika woke up quickly to remind Viren they had ann appointment today with the doctor. When she went out, Tarun informed her that Viren, Dadaji, and Inder had left for office already. Jeevika then went to get ready. She was waiting at the table for everyone, but Tarun informed her no one was at home and that he could serve her breakfast in her room. Jeevika walked back to her room and her phone buzzed. It was an sms from Manvi.

manvi - "Hi di, sorry we left without informing you. I came to tell you Virat had a meeting for his next album, but you were still sleeping. I made breakfast for you and I told Tarun to serve you in your room. Please eat di, I'll be home as soon as possible. Love you, Mannu"

It was now 11:00 am and Jeevika was still alone. Swamini bua had gone out of town for a few days with Vanshika while Kadambri chachi was probably at Schloks school. Jeevika got her reports out and told Tarun that she was going to the doctors as she had an appointment at 11:45. Jeevika left for her appointment. The past few weeks Jeevika tried being as dependent as she could. She didn't want the extra help from all the family members especially even when Viren liked doing things for her; it was the least he could do for her comfort. It just made her feel useless as if she couldn't even take care of herself.

A few minutes later Manvi and Virat came back home. They both went to Jeevika's room to see how she was. They couldn't find her anywhere. Tarun then came and told Manvi and Virat that Jeevika went to the doctors.

virat - "Shit, how did bhabhi go? The driver is with chachi. That means she went in a taxi"

manvi - "Virat lets go to the hospital, I don't want di to be alone."

While Jeevika was on her way, she tried calling Viren as she knew he always loved coming with her to see their baby growing bigger and bigger each time. Jeevika called twice and Viren cut her phone both times. Even though Viren said this would be his last case before Jeevika's delivery, it was a complicated case that took much of his time. Jeevika had become more understanding and didn't make a fuss when he would occasionally come late from work, but she at least wanted him to be there for the doctors appointment. Everytime Jeevika walked into the hospital, she got this feeling of restlessness. She was always petrified. Jeevika tried calling Viren again and this time he picked up.

viren - "Jeevika, I'm in an important meeting right now. Please stop calling me, I'll call you when I'm free" and with that he cut the phone.

Jeevika was hurt but couldn't do anything about it. As soon as she reached the hospital she paid the taxi driver and was walking in the hospital just when she heard someone should her name. It was Manvi and Virat who ran towards Jeevika.

manvi - "Di, why did you come here alone. Couldn't you have called me? Are you okay? Do you have pain?"

jeevika - "Manvi, i'm fine. I had an appointment today and no one was home so I just came alone. Don't worry if it was important I would have called you"

virat - "Important? bhabhi this is important. Its not safe for you to come alone. Why didn't you call bhai or me at least? We would have brought you here."

Jeevika didn't answer Virats question and just quietly said lets go inside now. Virat thought to himself how come bhai wasn't here. He never missed Jeevika's appointment and especially now he should have been here. As they entered into the doctors cabin, Jeevika saw her phone was vibrating. It was Viren. He called twice, but Jeevika didn't pick up as the doctor was asking her a few questions. Even if she wasn't talking to the doctor, she wouldn't have picked up the phone call. I mean how could Viren talk like that with Jeevika. What if it was an emergency, and Viren would scream at her the way he did. Viren then sent her an sms saying "Jeevika, where are you?" The doctor gave Jeevika a gown to change into as she was going to do an ultrasound to check on her baby. Jeevika went to change and Manvi went with her to help her. Just then Viren called Virat asking him if he knew why Jeevika wasn't picking up the phone.

virat - "Bhai we are here at the doctors. Bhabhi had an appointment today and you know she came all alone in a taxi. Where were you? Didn't you remember?"

viren - "Oh god, I totally forgot Virat. No wonder Jeevika was calling me so many times to remind me but I got mad at her and cut the phone. Shit, I should have heard her out. I thought you guys were at home though? If I knew Jeevika was home alone, I wouldn't have left. Where did you guys go?"

virat - "Bhai I had a meeting regarding my next music album and Manvi had to come with me to. We needed her signature for a few contracts."

viren - "Okay Virat, you guys stay with Jeevika. I just got done with my meeting, I'll be there in 20 minutes."

Virat then cut the phone. He came back inside the cabin to see Jeevka lying down on the bed and the doctor doing the ultrasound. Manvi was holding her di's hand and was in awe. She couldn't believe that that was her Jeevika's di's baby. Virat was looking at the screen too and couldn't believe his eyes. It felt so unreal. His bhai would soon have a little kid of his. After the ultrasound the doctor told Jeevika to come back in after 3 weeks. The three of them were leaving the hospital just as Viren pulled up his car. He ran out and hugged Jeevika.

viren - "Sorry Jeevika, I totally forgot about today and on top of that I got mad at you. I'm really sorry."

Manvi and Virat just stood there looking at the two.

viren - "What did the doctor say, is everything alright?"

manvi - "Don't worry jiju, di and our little chutki are both alright."

viren - "Thank god."

Jeevika still stood there silent. She knew Viren was the best husband, but she was angry at how he spoke with her. And Viren knowing Jeevika to darn well knew he would have to do something to make it up to her.

virat - "How about we all go out and celebrate."

viren - "Good idea, but celebrate what"

virat - "Actually bhai, I just signed the contracts for my second album which will be releasing in 4 months."

Jeevika and Viren both congratulated him and hugged him saying they were so proud of him.

virat - "So let's go, my treat today!"

jeevika - "Virat you guys go ahead, I'm not feeling to well. I want to go home."

manvi - "Di how can we celebrate without you? Virat lets go out another time. Let's take di home, if she isn't feel well, let her rest and we will go out tonight or tomorrow."

They all then decided to go home. Jeevika was hesitant to get into the car with Viren, but she didn't want to make it obvious that she was still upset with him. She quietly sat in the passenger seat looking out her window. Viren didn't want to say anything as he knew she would either start crying or yelling. It took them almost an hour getting home because of traffic and Jeevika had dozed off to sleep again. As soon as they reached home, Virat got out of the car and opened the house doors. Viren picked Jeevika up and took her into their bedroom. It was almost 1:30 and no one had had lunch. Viren first thought of waking Jeevika up, but Manvi told him to let her sleep as she ate breakfast pretty late. She told her jiju she would feel her lunch as soon as she got up. Viren put Jeevika down on the bed. Jeevika clinged onto Viren's shirt not wanting to let go. Viren just sat there while Jeevika slept with her hand on him. He covered her with a blanket as it was getting very cold and Jeevika started shivering.

Jeevika woke up after a while and saw Viren sitting next to her strolling his hand throughout her hair. She just hugged him tighter and he did as well.

jeevika - "Virenji, did you eat lunch?" she said noticing that it was 4:00.

viren - "How could I eat when neither you or my baby has eaten yet. Ill go bring lunch for us. Don't get out of bed"

He walked out the room and entered with room holding a tray. He brought in one plate and they both fed each other. Viren and Jeevika didn't talk about what had happened earlier this morning. They just both let it go and sat with each other.
