I feel the flashback was needed to help in the flow of thought and for us viewers to understand Arnav-Khushi's early encounters. Hmmm, now Aman will be the uniting band for Arshi. Interesting to see how one bad deed by Mrs. Sen resulted in all these consequence...ripple effect. Khushi don't over think yourself dear, just undo all your wrong actions. But how will she trust Aman if he even tries to help genuinely?

He became what he had been a long time ago with the magical touch of Khushi. Again he became a beast after she abandoned him, deserted him. He was irrevocably in love with Khushi and the way she left him created a deep, a very deep scar in his heart. He could have bore the pain if she had died but she was living yet dead to him'he was also in a dilemma...and he was afraid to start again with Khushi as he had been abandoned before and this time if he gets abandoned he will crumble down...and may not withstand the pain of losing Khushi once more... Khushi had been breaking one crack at a time till one wall at a time comes down. He doesn't like these things at all. And for her he surrendered his original self to her. His conscience and brain wants Khushi far away from him. But his heart and emotions longs to touch and be with her. He fights with himself more than Khushi. He knew it very well that the day he had seen Khushi he had loved her, only her. And the feelings were mutual. He knew if Khushi had loved anyone it is him, only him. But their fate'..'always had something else in store for them. They had united in spite of major problems and misunderstandings and quarrels, but it was too early for them to get happiness. Their destiny wanted them to suffer more and this time when he lost her for intervention and misunderstanding created by others he felt as if his heart has been ripped out of him and he was asked to live without it. It was pathetic...He suffered for what he had not done. And Khushi...? His Khushi...? She didn't trust him...? She didn't trust her Arnav...! For whom she had fought with everyone, her mother, father, brother and the whole society'she didn't give him a single chance to prove or let him speak. And now everyone is expecting that he would give her a second chance...!...Second chance...!...Why?...Why will he give her? He could have given it to anyone, but not her. Once he had endured that torture and now not anymore'...
