How important is song selection?

In singing reality shows, its very important. But what about in JDJ? Do you think the song choice makes a difference in how well the contestants perform?

I think the song does make a difference as if u dont choose a song that suits yr dancing steps and personality, it reflects in yr dancing.

Like wht slipha told rati in 14th sept performance that the song that rati danced in the second performance suited her better than the song of the first performance but overall the first performance was better.

Dont know how one knows wht the rite song to dance to but the judges seem to be able to tell

Yeah..i feel tht its important tht the song selection makes a difference..

like in first episode akash n her partner dances salsa with Ya ali..i didnt find tht interesting..

Song selection does play a role in JDJ..... but not very important role according to me.... finally how you dance on that song counts more.

e.g. I do not like the song Mona danced on....not even a bit 😕 but I liked her performance very much.... through out the performance i was watching only her; not once did i think about the song 😊
