They both look like a real mother-daughter when g3 speaks lovingly to arthi and she takes care of her too.

MIL and DIL yes can have a mother/daughter relationship but there must be no hidden secrets between them , respect is vital and that Aarti does have and she maintains it well but she will have to be much more open and relaxed to achieve that relationship
