No matter which characters we support I think all of the fans of the show will agree that we are all tired, drained and to certain extent bored with this storyline now. Unfortunately we are in for at least another 2-3 weeks of this situation. The reason I say that is because the next storyline of kuhu-DV-Champa needs to be built up. Kuhu-DV have not met since the Mela (before SugVi). Now they have met again. To go from that to getting married is going to take time. Also DV- Champa angle needs to be built up as they have not even met yet. So during this period they are going to have to keep this triangle going and torture us. The CVs completely took the eye of the ball, when the Reva manzila track was introduced, instead of planting seeds of new future storylines they got rid of most of the other characters and therefore storyline opportunities. So now they have to start from scratch and we have to suffer.
In terms of the triangle we have:
- TVS finally excepting that Sugni does not want him in her life and walking away after promising that he will never interfere in her life. He is wondering around aimlessly trying to come to terms with the fact that he has to live his life without Sugni. I don't understand why Adi-Sugni were shocked when TVS disappeared. What did they expect ? Sugni told him to get out of her life. She lives in his house so what was he going to do? Sugni told him to get out of her life. She lives in his house so what was he going to do? Go back home and sit down for dinner with them and the rest of the family? Get involved in wedding preparations? ' Seriously!!!!
- Sugni acknowledging to herself and telling Adi that TVS is the love of her life and there will never be anyone else for her. She has decided that she does not want to marry Adi but will remember him as a good friend. She does not want marry TVS because she does not want him to get a divorce or fall out with MA and the family to be with her. She will just live her life like Meera - love TVS but never be with him. TVS left his home and family because of her so she wants him to come home. She will then tell MA the truth and leave.
- Adi realising that he is in love with Sugni. He wanted to tell her and find out how she felt before realising that she still loves TVS so is now swooning over her every time she is in close proximity. Sugni's premonition that TVS's life is danger and her and Adi's decision to go look for him was soo contrived that even a 5 year old could see that it was means of trying get Adi Sugni Jodi accepted. Even the most loyal Adi ' Sugni fans have said it's happening far too quickly. Adi's realisation of his feelings to dreaming of physical intimacy is soo quick that, it is indecent. The fact there is no guilt that he is in love with a girl who his Mama loves and who loves his Mama and he is dreaming of physical intimacy with her is truly disgusting. We have all said that all of the characters have been butchered and now its Adi's turn to be butchered some more.
- Reva realising that the depth of TVS-Sugni relationship means that if they ever got together TVS will divorce her so its important that Sugni Adi get married. She has also decided that the only way to make sure her position in the household is secure is for her to become TVS's widow and as such he must die. Reva set into motion a plan for TVS's permanent demise which resulted in him being lured into a Mendir and being beaten and stabbed. Sugni and Adi arrive in time and he is taken to hospital. Reva then makes a second attempt but is unsuccessful. TVS comes out of coma, sees Sugni and says he wants to go home and explain all to MA and get married before another obstacle comes their way. Reva has now planted seeds of doubt in TVSs mind ' that Sugni planned his attack as she now wants to be with Adi who is single and of a similar age as opposed to TVS who is older and very much married. Adi goes along with whatever Sugni says because Adi wants to be with Sugni, MA will accept Adi-Sugni but never TVS-Sugni.
I hope for once Sugni sticks to her decision to tell the truth to MA and leave and does not let circumstances force her in to situations especially one where she ends up marrying Adi. Because for all her good intentions that will be one act that will destroy 2 good men and this family.
The real question is whether TVS will fall for Reva's ploy. I think it will certainly raise some doubts in his mind but as he does not trust Reva he will unconvinced. It will be Sugni's action which will determine whether TVS gives into his doubts and let jealousy dictate his actions. If Sugni does as she says then hard as it may be he will accept her decision. On the other hand, if Adi and Sugni continue with the charade of getting married I suspect at least for a little while his actions will be dictated by jealousy. In amongst all this I hope those that conspired to commit murder in God's own home and in his presence do not benefit from their actions.
So in the coming weeks we will see either:
- TVS returning from hospital
- Sungi telling the truth and leaving the havali and going back home.
- TVS yet again having to deal with moving on without Sugni
- TVS realising Reva was playing a game and finding about his attack and dealing with Reva and Niranjan
- TVS divorcing Reva not to be with Sugni but because he wants to remove all traces her from his life
Alternatively:
- TVS returning from hospital
- Adi Sungi getting married as no one says anything
- TVS letting jealousy dictate his actions and make Adi-Sugni life difficult
- Reva gets away with attempted murder
While this is going on the Kuhu-DV-Champa storyline will be built up. Whilst the first option is painful it will bring this car crash of a storyline to an end. The alternative will mean we will have on-going saga of this triangle. It is not entertaining now so its continuance is certainly not going to be entertaining.
While the kuhu-DV-Champa story unfold CVs should consider building up the next storyline where by Sugni on returning home has problems with her Mamas and Mami as they have spent most of the 20 lacs and as she will not do Rai and Sardhakai they will be unhappy and will consider her a burden. During this period G should be shown to going to cultural events to promote Rai and Sugni going with her. During such a trip Sugni sees the value of arts and crafts and comes up with an idea of making arts and crafts to sell in the city on their trips as means of earning a living both to get her Mamas of her back but also if she truly believes she wants to spend her life alone than she needs means to support herself. When this series started Sugni was shown as not someone that was doing great things to uplift the life of the Bednis but was doing small things to improve her life and in doing so was inspiring others. That is what this arts and crafts idea will be - a means to support herself and her family which in turn will inspire others in community to consider alternative to Rai and sardhakai - like a cottage industry if you will.
