He walked slowly and stopped 10 feets away from her and saw Khushi's head bent in her hand.

He slowly called for her

"Khushi !!!"

As soon as Khushi heard his voice, she raised her head, and looked at him.

Arnav was surprised to see her tear strained face, her eyes still teary looking at him.

Part 10

She looked at him standing infront of her and looking at her with a bit painful face. She didn't knew what happened, she of her own got up, as if some other thing was controlling her body. She stood up and looked at him and within seconds ran towards him and hugged him tightly, tightly as if her life depended on him, as if she was drowning and he was the only one who can save her.

Arnav was shocked with this gesture of her, the way she stood up, the way she ran to her, the way she was hugging her. He didn't knew the reason why she was crying , and hoped that it was nothing related to him, coz he had always hated seeing her cry, hated her tears, as they caused him pain, as if something was pricking in his heart. He remembered the felling when he saw her cryng in their childhood, but this time the felling was not doubled, but ten times more. Like everytime, this time also she ran to him and hugged him, but this time her hold was much stronger. Like always this time also she was keeping her head on his chest, her ears just above his heart, but this time, it was something more special. And like always this time too Arnav should console her whatever the matter is, he have to console her, as he had promised some 10 years ago that he will never allow her to cry. He slowly hugged her back, his right hand on her head, and left holding her back, rubbing gently soothing her.

Khushi was not in her mind, she didn't knew what she was doing, she could just feel the same warmth, she used to feel when she used to hug her Arnav. She felt two hands hugging her back, one on her head and one on her back and heard a voice trying to soothe her, calm her down. It was like within seconds all her sadness, all her problems were vanishing, her mood was again enlighting. She heard those soothing words and they sounded so magical.

"Ssshh' Khushi'. Its ok'. Kya hua ???? Batao'. Ssshhh' calm down"

Khushi didn't wanted to tell him what all happened but she couldn't stop herself from telling this savior of hers, the one who was pulling her back from the water, trying to save her from drowing and so she while sobbing said "Woh' Lavanya'."

"Lavanya kya???" he asked calmly..

She burying her face more in his chest narrated the whole incident while continuously sobbing and at last said "Woh bahut nashe mein hai'. Use kuch hogaya toh'"

"Khushi just relax' calm down use kuch nahi hoga' dnt worry'" he said this consoling her.

Arnav removed his right hand from her head and pulled out his cell from his pocket and called someone. Khushi was still sobbing, and she even forgot that she was still hugging Arnav that tightly which would have chocked La , if she had been hugging her this tightly.

"Hello !! Aman ???"

"Ya listen Lavanya neeche club mein hai and she is totally drunk, so its better you come down and taker her from there, she is really in a bad condition."

"Ok ! Good!!!"

And saying this he disconnected the call. He noticed that Khushi was still sobbing and he simply waited for her to stop, as he knew that Khushi will be fine within a few minutes or so, coz she had already told what was there in her heart.

Out of no where a small drop of water fell on her nose tip. She was confused from where did it came and within seconds' so many drops of water started falling on her. Before she could understand what is happening, it started raining heavily, or rather it started showering. When she realized it was raining and that she was still hugging Arnav, she slowly left him and moved few steps back, and looked down at the ground. She thought she will not be able to look at him anymore after what she did just few minutes back. How long was she hugging him, what would he think about her, why he didn't complained also, and why was it raining ??????????

Arnav looked at her facing the ground, and understood that she was emberassed and so thought of lighting the mood and the atmosphere and instead of running inside the hotel , he stood under the rain and said "Khushi tumhaare aansoo dekh toh aasmaan bhi rona chalu kar diya' now cant console anymore'" Khushi never heard something like this from Arnavji, and that also with a hint of laugh with it. She raised her head and looked at him, smirking looking at her and she too smiled.

Were they both mad !!!! She thought. Both of them didn't mention anything about their hug and were smiling at a very poor joke standing here in rain. She was mad , that she knew , but arnavji too was that she never knew and suddenly she heard his phone ringing and saw him pulling out his phone from his pocket and at once answering it. She looked at him. He looked more hot with wet, his hairs.. the gels he applied were washed away and his hair was sticking on his forehead making him look hot as well as cute. Khushi!!!! Hold on, she was crying bitterly few minutes back' and now she was again drooling at this Greek God like Guy'.. She is really a mad' she thought. Suddenly one memory from her childhood and specially one conversation crossed her mind.

"Khushi ''''.. tera dimag toh thik hai ???" asked Lavanya.

"Kyu ????"

"Kyu ki jot u bol rahi hai use mujhe lagta toh nahi hai'" [coz whatever you are telling from that it doesn't seem so.]

"Tujhe kya lagta hai aisa nahi hota hai'.." [What do you think it does not happen?] asked Khushi

"Aur nahi toh kya '."

"Lavanya sach yr' aagar bearish mein kisi ladke ke saath bheego na' toh samajh lena wohi tumhara sapno ka raajkumar hai.. aur tumhe use pyaar hone waala hai'." Khushi said with a broad smile.

"Aur phirse tujhe aisa kyu lagta hai ???" [And again why do you think so???]

"Kyuki phir se'. tune filmo aur serial mein nahi dekha hai' jab bhi hero aur heroine pehli bar bearish mein bheegte hai' toh uske baad hi unhe pyaar hone lagta hai'." [Havent you watched in flims, whenever hero and heroine'. Gets wet in the rain' they start falling in love.]

"Khushi tu bhi na !!!!"

"Sach!!! Dekhna mere saath bhi aisa hi hoga'."

"Thik hai dekha jayega'."

Khushi remembered this words still looking at Arnav and said to herself "Toh phir kya yehi mere sapno ke rajkumaar hai ???? kya mujhe Arnavji se hi py'' hoga ???" [So is he then my prince charming??? Will I fall in lo'. With him] and then nodding her heads "yeh tu kya soch rahi hai Khushi'' woh bhala tujhe'. Chodh.. woh sab baad mein dekha jayega' pehle bearish ka mazza le le/// itne dino baad bheegne ka mauka mila hai woh bhi bina rok tok ke'" [Khushi what are you thinking???? Stop it' now for the time being enjoy the rain' after so many days you got to stand in the rain like this enjoy this moment] and she half turned and started enjoying the rain, forgetting all her sorrow, fear and confusion , allowing the rain to wash them all away.

Arnav "Ok Aman will tell her'" and telling this he cut the call and looked at Khushi who was jumping enjoying the rain and type of dancing as well as laughing. She was standing a few feets away. Arnav looked at his angel, being so happy and thanked his stars for this rain coz afterall it made her happy, her smile returned. He noticed that she was smiling and playing with the water, jumping , dancing splashing water infront of her and smiled, she was the same pagaal Khushi. He was about to call her and ask her to come inside when he remembered something.

"Khushi !! dekh nahi!! Pls!! nahi !!! no!!!!" Arnav tried to protest, but for Khushi it was go hell with his protest and she was pulling him with her full power to take him to the rains.

"Arnav chal na kuch nahi hoga" [Arnav come nothing will happen]she said showing him her eyes

"Nahi !!! bahut kuch hoga!!!" [No a lot of things will happen]

"Maine kaha na kuch nahi hoga'"[I am telling you na nothing will happen]

"Aur mai bhi keh raha hu na bahut kuch hojayega'" [And I am also telling na ' a lot of things will happen]

"Aacha kya hoga bata???" [Ok tell me what will happen?]

"Dekh aagar mai bearish mein bheega toh mujhe thand lag jayegi.. jis se sardi aur khasi hojayegi'. As a result mera tonsil barr jayega.. and mera gala baith jayega.. phir mujhe thoda fever ho ga and do din baad mujhe pneumonia ho jayega' itna kuch ho jayega'. Isliye nahi" [See so many things will happen, see if I get wet . I will catch cold, then I will get cold and cought and as a result my tonsil will increase and my voice will be chocked, and then a slight fever and after 2 days pneumonia, so its better I don't get wet]

He said all this with the speed of Rajdhani express, even beating Khushi's speed and making her confused and making her stare at him with big confused round eyes for a whole minute and then making her pull him with double force.

Oh God !!! nothing can save him '..

"Tujhe kuch nahi hoga'. Bas ghar jakar thoda garam haldi wala doodh pee lena.. aura agar ghar mein kesar ho toh woh bhi daal dena' aagar nahi ho toh koi baat nahi kesar bahut mehenga hai na'. haldi se kaam ho jayega aur tu bilkul thik rehega'" [Nothing will happen to you, after reaching home drink haldi milk and you will be ok]

"Aur tujhe kaise pata ki haldi se mujhe kuch nahi hoga???" [And how do u know that nothing will happen to me after taking haldi milk?]

"Kyunki mai jab bhi bearish mein bheegti hoon toh aamma mujhe haldi wala doodh deti hai aab chal" and with this she pulled him out of the shed to the playground where it was raining heavily.

He stood in the rain looking at Khushi enjoying the rain dancing , jumping and collecting water in her hands and laughing. She turned and looked at him and said

"Bevkoof tu aise khada kyu hai???"

"Toh mai kya karu ???"

"Ek kaam kar aapne haath dono aur faila chehra upar ki oor kar aur aankhe baandh kar ke bearish ke boondo ko aapne chehre par mehsoos kar"[Do one thing, spread your arms on both sides, look towards sky , close your eyes and enjoy the rain drops.] He did as she said and nodoubt he loved the feeling .

He smiled a bit and then did the same, spread his arms on both the sides, faced towards the sky and closed his eyes enjoying the rain drops hitting his face. He after so many years stood in the rain like this , just like the way Khushi taught him.

Somethin suddenly caughtKhushi's eyes she turned towards Arnav and what she saw brought a big smile on her face. She saw Arnav standing with face upwards , his closed and with a small smile enjoying the rain drops. Who did ever thought that ASR can enjoy small moments like this. She couldn't stop herself from asking.

"Arnavji aapko bhi bearish mein bheegna pasand hai??" [Arnavji you also like getting wet in rain?]

Arnav hearing her opened his eyes and looked at her and said "Kabhi kabhi' pehle nahi tha' par aab hai' kisi ne kuch kaha tha.."

Khushi smiled a bit and then Arnav said "aab aandar chale'.raat hogayi hai."

Khushi nodded and they started walking towards the hotel building again, they went to the lift and got inside it. Both now were feeling a bit awkward and so Arnav said "Khushi Aman ne call kiya tha.. woh safely Lavanya ko room mein le gaya hai.. and she is too drunk isliye use sambhal ne ke liye Aman aaj raat usi ke saath ruk raha hai'"

Khushi was nodding and then suddenly said "Kya Amanji Lavanya ke saath ruk rahe hai???"

Arnav looked at her and said "Don't worry he is a good guy and moreover Aman likes Lavanya a lot' so theres no problem."

"Thik hai!!! Waise Lavanya ko bhi woh pasand hai.. par mera kya???"

Arnav raising his eyebrow questioned "What do you mean by tumhara kya???"

"Humara matlab' phir hum kaha rehenge aaj raat ko???"

Arnav "Tum aaj raat ko Aman ke room mein ruk jao'"

Khushi nodded'

They reached their rooms. She went to her room and rang the bell, while Arnav stood behind her. Aman opened the door and was a bit shocked to see both Arnav and Khushi wet from head to toe.

Khushi smiled and said "Hum aapne kapde le aaye???" Aman smiled and moved aside allowing her to enter the room.

As soon as she was out of sight he asked "Arnav tum aur Khushi dono bheeg kaise gaye???"

Arnav looked at him and taking a bit time said "Woh hum lawn se aate aate bearish aagay tha'. Leave it'"

Aman smiled and nodded .

Khushi came and asked Aman to take care of Lavanya and took his room key and then both Arnav and Khushi went to their rooms.

After 1 hour..

Arnav has changed into a while casual T-shirt and sweat pants and was rubbing his hair dry after a shower, when he heard his bell ring. He went to the door and opened it. There was Khushi standing infront of him wearing a short pink churidaar, looking like her night dress with wet hairs . All her hairs on one side revealing her neck. She was looking amazing and so fresh, he was lost, lost in her beauty and was simply staring at her, he so wanted to bend and touch her neck with his lips. Arnav come on shut up just keep your imaginations to you.

Khushi was too mesmerized with this man standing infront of him wearing a white T-shirt looking no less handsome and hot , that he looks everytime, with his hair ruffled and a towel around his neck. She so wanted to touch his hairs falling on his forehead.

Both were lost at eachother, standing and staring. When finally Arnav breaking the eye contact asked

"Khushi tum ??? What happened ???"

"Woh.. Arnavji' woh hum.. darasal' hum uss kamre mein nahi reh sakte "

Arnav looked at her totally confused and asked

"Kyu kya hua ???"

Khushi looking a bit embarrassed said

"Woh hume darr lag raha hai'."

Arnav smiled hearing her response and asked "Darr lag raha hai???" and then he noticed a bellboy coming and checking out Khushi in her night suit from top to bottom and felling a bit possessive he said "Khushi tum aandar aao' phir batao.."

Khushi looked at the bellboy too and feeling a bit uncomfortable nodded and came inside his room , while he closed the door and said "Aab batao kya hua???".

Moving towards the sofa he asked her to sit and he also sat down.

Khushi said "Darasal hum Amanji ke kamre mein nahi reh sakte' kyunki hume darr lag raha hai.."

"Kis cheez ka darr???"

"Hume akele rehne ki aadat nahi hai.. yah tak ghar mein bhi humesha jiji humare saath hoti hai'"

Arnav hearing her smiled and said "Aacha??"

"Haan hume akele rehne mein bahut darr lagta hai'" she said all this like a child.

Arnav thought a bit teasing her and said "Aur tumhare jiji ki jab shaadi ho jagayi toh.. tab tum kya karogi'"

"Hum bhi shaadi kar lenge.." khushi said instantly'.

And Arnav hearing this smiled and raised his eyebrow and said "Oh really???"

"Nahi' hum.. hum.. buaji ke saath rehenge na.."

Arnav smiled at how she was trying to defend her ans and said "Ok' but aab toh bahut raat ho gayi hai.. and Aman bhi so gaya hoga' as well as I don't think tum abhi Lavanya ke pass jana bhi chaogi.. so u hv only one option' mere room mein hi ruk jao.."

Khushi looked at him a bit afraid and said "Aapke saath???"

Arnav defending "Don't worry i am also a decent guy'. Tum bedroom mein so jao' I will manage here'"

Khushi "Nahi ! nahi! Hum jante hai aap bahut aache hai' par humari wajah se aapko itni takleef hogi.."

"Its ok Khushi'"

"Sukriya Arnavji!!!"

Arnav smiled a bit and nodded.

"Arnavji kya hum thodi der yaha baith sakte hai.. hume abhi neend nahi aarahi hai.."

"Ya sure.. we can talk for a while'"

Khushi smiled.

"Tum baitho mai abhi aata hu " and telling this he got up and moved towards the Kitchen.

After few minutes Arnav came with two glasses of haldi wala doodh and gave one glass to khushi .

Khushi looked at her a bit confused and worried.

Arnav smiled and said "Don't worry maine milk mein except haldi aur kuch nahi milaya hai'"

Khushi smiled and said "Yeh???"

Arnav cutting her said "Barish mein bheege hai na.. yeh peene se sardi nahi lagegi'"

"Aapko kaise pata???"

Arnav thought for a while and said "hmmm' aisa meri Di kehti hai.."

"Oh!!!" and saying this Khushi started drinking the milk.

"So Khushi how was your day??? Do you liked Mumbai???"

"Ji!! Woh'"

"Kya??? U didn't like Mumbai???"

"Nahi woh hume Mumbai dekhne ka mauka hi nahi mila abhi tak.."

"What??? So what was u doing today???"

"Lavanya ne aaj jane se mana kar diya' woh boli thi ki kal jayegi aur aab toh mera Mumbai dekhna bhi nahi hoga.. kyu ki mujhe uske saath na baat karna hai.. na uske saath jana hai'"

Arnav really felt bad for her and said "Koi baat nahi kal dekh lena Mumbai.."

"Par hum akele kaise ' nahi hum akele kahin gum ho gaye toh'"

"Ok!! Then hum dono challenge.. mai tumhe Mumbai ghumaunga.. waise bhi mere saare kaam hogaye hai.."

"Aap challenge mere saath??" she asked excitedly..

Arnav smiled seeing her happy and said "Ya!!! So its done.. kal morning ko niklenge and we will tour Mumbai.

Khushi became so happy like a small girl was given a bag full of chocolates.

They talked a few more things and Arnav said "Tumhe jo karna hai tum karo' mujhe thoda kaam hai" and telling this he opened his laptop and started doing some work.

An hour passed and it was 12 when he finished his work. He closed his laptop and turned towards the sofa and saw Khushi sleeping there with the magazine , she was on top of her. He smiled and instead of waking her up at this time he decided to shift her to the bedroom himself only.

He went to her picked her up in his arms and carried her to the bedroom. He lied her down on the bed, covered her with the quilt , adjusted the room temperature, and then looking at her for one last time, took the other pillow and went out of the room to the sofa. Kept the pillow, and somehow adjusting himself on the sofa' too lied down, to get some sleep before the on coming excitement ful day. He lied and being too tied within seconds fell asleep.

It was about 4 in the morning when something was vibrating near Khushi's head. She with the vibration woke up and with a jerk woke as well as sat up on the bed. The source of vibration was none other than her own cell. She took her cell and saw 5 messages received. She saw the sender name and it was Lavanya. She read all the messages and briefly all stated that she was very sorry for what she did. Khushi kept the cell down, switched it off and moved out of the room towards the kitchen to drink some water. She drank water and while coming back towards the room, she saw Arnav very uncomfortably sleeping on the sofa and that also without any blanket, and even shievering a bit due to cold. She quickly went to her room and brought a blanket and came near him and while covering him she thought, she couldn't remember how she reached the bedroom as she fell asleep in the sofa itself. So that means Arnav shifted her to the bed.. she smiled thinking that Arnav might have shifted her to the bed. He was really a decent ' and cute guy. Oh god how cute he looks while sleeping' hayeee'.. just like a small kid, totally tension and pressure free. She put the blanket on him and then smiled again at him and went back to the room and lied down, to get some more sleep and to be ready for the coming day.

Aww..lovely update and it was quite long.luvd it...
As always d flashbacks were awsum..wld luv 2 read more and more of thm..and ths part all d moments btw arshi were awsum..d way kushi control's her feelin toward's her arnavji and d way arnav resists himself...tooo gud...superb work keep goin:-):-)
