||CHAPTER 1||

Swayam's POV:

It was more than a week she didn't turn up to college... all the time I used to ask Rihan, he used to avoid me... but what do I do with those nightmares... since the last 1 week, every night I had those deadly nightmares...

with a hope to meet her today, I got off my bed... to kick start a new day at college... expecting it to be good

Finally, there she is!!! I guess she is over with that incident... she seems to be quite normal, just as before...

I went to her but before I could utter a word I found a palm on my chest pushing me away... who else can I expect? Rihan...

"stop there itself"

"dude I just wanna talk to her"

"no need Rihan (she came to his side) we dont need to waste our time on him" she said with a disgusted look

"u carry on I'll join u in the class" saying so she left... but I cud sense sum kinda change in her.. sumthing has definitely changed...

my chain of thoughts were broken when he turned to me... oh please!!! no more of his lectures... he started "dude, better stay away frm her... what u did was more than enough.. no more.. dare u try to come closer to her or harm her in any way... coz last tym I was bond by the promise bt not this time"

I left... I was not interested to listen to him anymore...

"hey u" came a voice frm behind, Rihan turned to see a girl proceeding towards him shooting daggers... he pointed at himself n asked "me"

"yes u" she snatched his collar

"easy girl... whats the matter" he himself was confused

"y did u talk to him like that? who the hell gave u the ryt?" she kept scolding him whereas he wasn't aware of what was he abused for?

"who r u talking abt?" he asked calmly

"Swayam" she said bt in no tym his expressions changed from calm to irritated...

"n why the hell wud I tell u?" he said pointing his finger at her

"coz I am his best frnd.. u were shouting at"

"he deserves much more that just scolding" he was abt to leave when she grabbed his arm and pulled him back

"what do u mean?"

"I mean there's no one who can go as low as him.. he is such an a**h**e, b****y b*****d" he let out his frustration

"listen u... u cant b abusing a decent guy just coz u dont like him"

"yes, I dont like him.. but thats not the reason y m abusing him... he deserves it"

"n how do u know he deserves what?" she asked with a brow raised

"coz he has ____________" he narrated the incident to her

"no he cant do this"

"if u dont trust me.. go n ask anyone here... or ur bestfreind, himself" he left

"Tina!!!" I called her while she left me all alone...

now this was getting the hell out of me... just one incident has changed everything... I have those nightmares... then that stupid Rihan barking at me... Sharon ignoring me... n now my best frnd, who just had come down all the way from New York for me... finds me not worthy of our frndship...

he sat there holding his head in his palms... cursing his fate n his own deeds

"sorry" she apologized while Rihan seemed uninterested

"just leave" he said firmly.. just then Sharon enters n finds him shouting at a girl... that was an unbelievable sight for her

"Rihan" she called out just to grab the attention of the two.. he turned to her making a sorry face

"wats all this?" she held Tina's shoulder, trying to comfort her

"please dont take her side.. she is his bestfrnd" Tina hung her head in shame... Sharon looked at her and said, "that doesnt give the ryt to accuse her for his deeds"

Tina shot her head up in surprise while Sharon smiled genuinely... she forwarded her hand "FRIENDS" she happily accepted it.

[PS: Rihan is Sharon's best friend n Tina is Swayam's best friend]
