Yes, DS was the trump card which J used at the right time. Shiv went into thinking mode ... it was DS who wanted Anandi & me together... so now that she is wanting A & J reunion maybe she knows A better than Me.

J has played all his cards very well...made Shiv feel that Anandi's acceptance & love is out of duty, loyalty... towards her dead Mom. Bas kya tha Shiv ji's introspective result...the love (true love) is only in one direction (from him to her), the other direction of love is tainted by the reason for the love😛 & her true love is on hold coz of him.

If we really love someone, we have to give them the freedom to choose for oneself. Shiv just has given Anandi FREEDOM to choose 😳 & we know she'll not disappoint us!!

No Character assassination... Shiv is just moocho wala Anandi in DS's words😆. If Aashima comes back today A will do exactly the same😳. In mahants meter they both score equally!!😳 For AnSh duty towards one & all comes before their duty towards thenselves😛

Despite all this he completely trusted Anandi and supported her through thick and thin, without being demanding. But in return Anandi could not give him enough assurance that she is all for him. Few smiles and gestures are not strong evidences that you love someone. Not especially when it is a case of 2^nd relationship. Shiv does not mind if A does not love him, because he was prepared for that. But he would definitely not want to live a life, where thinks, that his would-be loves someone else but is being forced to marry him, just for the sake of a promise.

Yes, I agree this was slightly impulsive decision taken under lot of emotional stress, but it is only natural. I also believe that he should have not have messed with A's life and should have discussed this with A before calling it off, but then this a good chance for A to completely realise and air out her feelings.

Sometimes a relationship needs to be out through these tests, to make them strong and I am liking this track.

I am only waiting for Anandi's inner volcano to erupt and straighten both J & S thoughts.

When I initially read articles about Shiv going to cancel the wedding, I thought his character was gonna be butchered but yesterday's episode proved me wrong. Shiv decided to call off the wedding not because of his insecurities but because he loved her. He thought that her happiness actually lies with J and all her wanted was her happiness even when it means at the expense of sacrificing his own. DS's request for Anandi to go back to Jagya triggered him, and then he started putting the picture together based on J's words. Anandi indeed agreed for the wedding to fulfill her mother's wish but eventually she has started to develop her feelings for Shiv. Her happiness or sorrows are usually subtle & hidden within her, so it is difficult for one to gauge them.

Totally loved how they showed Shiv's emotional turmoil yesterday and the circumstance that drove him to his decision. Sid totally rocked yesterday and his expressions were mind-blowing.

Till now, even I'm not sure whether has Anandi realized her feelings for Shiv but this a perfect moment for Anandi to actually speak her mind out, clear the clutter in everyone's mind including Shiv, Jagya, DS and CM especially.

Shiv's character is not butchered at all and it was not an impulsive decision either. He thought about it. DS's palti played a major role in this. Also, Jagya said that Anandi was principled and would never do anything wrong to Shiv at this stage. Knowing her principles he knew even if he spoke to her nothing would change. So, he took the decision upon himself and wanted to free her so that she can be happy.
