Priyanka Chopra keen to sing for films

From modelling to acting to singing, Priyanka Chopra has been there, done that. So, is there anything else that she wants to try her hand at?

"Never say never," quips the actor, adding, "Playback singing in Bollywood will have to wait until my full album releases."

Her first single, In My City, which features will.i.am has become quite popular and PC credits her celeb status for this. "People know me as an actor and are curious to find out what I am like as a singer," says Priyanka, who underwent vocal training in LA and Mumbai before recording the track.

The actor, who was in the city recently, tells us that this is not her first attempt at singing.
"I sung for my first-ever film, the Tamil flick Tamizhan, when I was just 18 years old," she says.

And since she has already worked in the south, Priyanka says she doesn't mind doing more. "Language has never been a barrier for me and if a Kannada film is offered to me I will do it. My upcoming film Zanjeer is a bilingual and I have been shooting for it in Hindi and Telugu simultaneously," she says.
