After few days,

Geet was humming swaying left to right with her headphones in her ears and listening the song ' Heartbeat by Enrique Iglesias and Nicole Scherzinger.

She didn't saw Maan coming from the other side and bumped into him and was going to fall on the floor hard when a pair of strong arms caught her just inches above the ground.

She opened her eyes and saw the alluring pair of eyes watching her so carefully.

She was going to ask him to make her stand but before she could do something he unplugged her headphones from her ipod and her ears. Now the music was playing loud and he started singing the lines.

Making her stand on her legs again and putting his hand forward like asking for a dance. She nodded and started singing the lines.

Like asking him not to do steal her heart. And then they both swayed with the tune and the lyrics, singing along.

Naturally they both were getting closer and closer during the dance. Singing along and having real pleasure dancing in each other's arms.

The song ended but hey both were still smiling and looking into each other's eyes like reading their souls. They wanted to break the eye contact but just cant, like it's the last time they are seeing each other and indeed it was the LAST TIME.

Suddenly Geet shuddered in his arms and got out of his grip slowly and went towards her room.

Maan stood their perplexed, don't know for how long he stood like a statue their looking towards her room.

They both were in their rooms.

Geet was thinking, 'bus Geet kal kal ki baat h uske baad tu bhi azaad aur Maan bhi. You don't even have to lie anymore. You will be going from here forever and will never turn your back. Vaise bhi mein Dadi aur Maan ko muh dikhane layak nhi rahungi meri iss Harkat ke baad.'

She sighed and thought about the moments they both shared, 'I have to leave them. I have to leave Maan. I don't want to hurt him. I know he have some feelings for me.'She rested her head against the bed rest and suddenly a drop of water rolled down her cheeks.

She touched the drop and looked at it surprised. She last cried when her mom and dad died in the plane hijack from the hands of terrorists. She looked at it amused. Then sighed and closed her eyes and again drop of fresh tears rolled down.

Maan was in his room thinking about the dance and how Geet left him their. But wait did he saw pain in her eyes. But why? The thought was haunting him for the rest of the night.

She pulled out a picture from the side drawer and put it in her bag. It was her with Maan when they both went to zoo.

She remembered how much she troubled Maan when he refused to take her to the zoo and said, "You want to see an elephant. Then no need to go to a zoo. Here." He make her stand in front of the mirror, "here you go miss Hathni."

She dropped her jaw and turned back to him and then pushed him forward towards the mirror and said, " MR. Bandar".

Then they both had a cat dog fight, with Maan running after Geet and Geet running around Dadi.

Dadi scolded both of them and then asked Maan to take her to the zoo.

She smiled and laughed a little thinking about the scenario that took place in the zoo. She shook her head and looked at the picture with Maan giving angry glare to Geet and Geet laughing and a Bandar at their back.

She sighed saying, "Its time to go home Geet."

And collected her things but didn't took anything that was provided by Maan or Dadima, not even the clothes she was just taking the picture with her nothing else. She has her own identity, her own world and once she is out she have her own family to take care of.

Morning

Everyone was having their breakfast quietly just guessing what is playing in each other's mind. Dadi was thinking Maan and Geet had a fight that is why they are not talking to each other and shook her head murmuring, "roz ka kaam h yeh toh."

Maan thought Geet is upset because of yesterday's event, 'I shouldn't have done this with her and Maan what has got into you. Why do you behave like a despo in front of her. I am telling you one day she will definitely slap you.'

He shook too his head. But Geet, her condition was miserable today she was thinking, 'just few hours left to go girl, last breakfast with Maan and Dadima.'She smiled but a sad one.

After the breakfast,

Geet in her bedroom wrote something on a paper and then tiptoed to see if Maan was in his room. Luckily, he was downstairs sitting with Dadi discussing something. She went inside his room kept the paper on his study table and left.

"Dadi Maan, see the most wonderful thing has happened. Look I dug this out of a dark crevice of my bag." She ran to them with great excitement shouting between her breaths.

He took the slip from her hand and read:

Mr N.G. Das

G.K.2, New Delhi

"I don't quite see'"

"oh don't you?" she said it quickly,

"This Mr Das must be known to me; he may be a relation of mine, probably a very near one. Maybe it is with just the intention of getting out of a fix like this- probably a common phenomenon with me ' that I carried this address so carefully on me. In any case, this is almost sure to be a bridge between my past and my present."

He felt rather uncomfortable under her eager look, for he became conscious, at the moment, of a shadow that fate had thrown suddenly between them both.

But he put a brave face and said, "it is great. In your bag, did you say? Well well, I thought that women's bag and especially of a modern girl only consist of nothing more than a bag full of vanity and stupid stuff; I never suspected they could carry such useful bits too."

With a calm fixed smile, she said, "there are a lot more things in the so-called modern girl that you still don't suspect. But I am sure you will find out little by little. Now don't waste time and go." She made him stand and start to drag him out but he asked her give sometime to change at least. "Okay but fast."
