It is difficult to detest any character in PV. Once again that was my thought while watching the episode. Even if we get angry on some characters, somewhere along the line we are forced to understand their feelings/their situation, our emotion changes. We can pity them, get irritated with them but never detest them.
"The worst lies are the lies we tell ourselves. We live in denial of what we do, even what we think. We do this because we're afraid. We fear we will not find love, and when we find it we fear we'll lose it. We fear that if we do not have love we will be unhappy." - Richard Bach
The above phrase suits exactly for both Aarti and Paridi.
Aarti is living in a denial phase all this time. She started doing that for her son. But the irony today is it is her Ansh who made her know of the existence of what she is denying. Her present(Yash, Ansh) is unknowingly encouraging her to come out of it by their actions(dinner date, his funny actions) which is related to her past. I always wanted Aarti to feel guilty within herself, not to confess to Yash but atleast feel guilty. When she has started showing her fear, I was pitying her due to her health conditions. This guilt phase is needed for Aarti but I want that to end in no time. She has suffered enough, I really trust Yash to understand her and support her from now on.
One thing I expect from Aarti is when she confesses her past to Yash, the reason for hiding should be not only the Dubeys' promise but also her own fear of losing her loved ones(Yash, children) which she has got after going through a hell. Similarly though Yash will be terribly hurt by her betrayal, I want him to feel the hurt for not only Aarti's divorcee truth but also for his own actions(or the lack of it) during their marriage period till now which did not encourage her to share her pain.
The phone conversation between the two mothers showed their concern/fear for their child(ren). Shoba's motherly fear for Prashant is increasing that she is ok with Aarti revealing the truth to Yash. Because we know the Shoba before Prashant's cancer phase would not have encouraged that. (Even when Aarti tried to tell the truth to Yash before knowing pregnancy, Shoba tried to stop her). Shoba does not want to harm Aarti's life by herself but she wants something to happen so that she can save her son's life and at the same time, she need not be a reason for Aarti's unhappiness.
Paridi is sort of in the same boat as Aarti. She's feeling guilty but she wants to run away to a farther distance. Such a distance where she will not feel connected to that mistake. Sadly in reality, there is no such place for a guilty conscience. In the scene where Prateek said I cannot leave you alone to Paridi, I was telling 'then you also go to jail with her'. I know Paridi was/is responsible for her actions but Prateek was half responsible for her actions. Till now, he has not done anything worth to earn our/Paridi's respect and trust. I really want him to be with her and prove her his love. We love him but let him earn our trust too.
Loved the family moment in the park. Is there a chance that Ansh would have read Prashant's name on the monitor? I felt the monitor screen was shown redundantly in that scene. Compared to his parents, Ansh is more smart to remember things(/incidents) and connect them.
Though the track is being dragged, all the actors are doing a splendid job giving me a valid reason to look forward for the next episode.
Have a great day everyone!! 😊
