What if Arnav is the father? It may have been a one-time thing that Arnav may not remember. Sheetal may not have told him when she was pregnant with Aarav because she knew that Arnav was not in love with her. She probably felt that she was capable of raising the kid on her own. Wouldn't it be more in the "Nayi Soch" mode, if Arnav finds out and Sheetal, Arnav and Khushi behave like adults and find a way to deal with the situation? Arnav can now play a more active role in Aarav's life with Khushi's support and Sheetal and Arnav maintain their friendship (exes can be friends!).

The relationship between Arnav and Khushi is slowly degenerating into that of a petulant child and an indulgent parent. I think the intensity and maturity of the relationship will increase if they show Khushi and Arnav as equal partners, willing to deal with issues together and making their relationship work!

I think a lot of people would be disappointed if Aarav was Arnav's kid - I am not one of them. I guess we all do things that come back to haunt us at a later time. I wonder if Indian television is progressive enough to actually show someone owning up to past mistakes in a subtle and mature manner 😕

A relationship cannot be based on Rabba veys and comedy alone. If we want this show to go on for a few more years, then there has to be a progression in the relationship between the leads. You don't have to compromise on the true nature of the characters but you still need to demonstrate that they have indeed changed and grown together. Since this is a soap and we watch it for the drama (and hopefully not just as a vicarious experience), conflict and intensity cannot hurt that much now, can it?

I actually commend the CVs - they have managed to rile up an entire forum. To me that indicates that they are doing something right since they have everyone invested in the characters, so much so, that people are willing to personally attack actors based on the characters that they play! Besides, when I started watching this show, it was for the entertainment, and so, I am okay with the lapse in logic and the nonsensical story lines once in way 😊 I'll watch a new program or read a good non-fiction book if I want a realistic portrayal of a situation.

Whoa! Just an opinion 😊 Besides, my point was that it would make for a more interesting story to show a mature relationship between Arnav and Khushi than the one that everybody is complaining about 😛

having a illegitimate child b4 marriage is ok for others...not for arnav-khushi... their love story is unique...their first child has to be between them...not with anyone else
