Arnav wins the basketball match! Everyone gets happy seeing him win. Arav gets so happy that he runs into the court and hugs Arnav. He tells Sheetal that no one can beat ASR. The whole family comes into the court and congratulates Arnav. Khushi is standing behind the family next to NK and is about to go in the front to congratulate Arnav when another family, who has been watching the match from a distance, comes to them and says that its so healthy for a family to come out and have a nice time together. Its good for kids to witness such a sweet bond shared by parents. They tell Arnav that him and his wife are doing a great job for their child and leave. Arnav and the rest of them realize that that family was referring to Arnav-Sheetal-Arav as a family. Khushi gets shocked to hear this. There is a pin drop silence on the ground. Arnav immediately looks at Khushi and sees her eyes all teared up! He feels very very very bad. Khushi realizes this and closes her eyes to stop the tears. She puts a brave face on and a beautiful smile on her face and excitedly goes to Arnav and congratulates him! She then says that they should all go back home as everyone must be hungry. Arnav gets heartbroken seeing Khushi putting up a lot of courage to fight her pain so that no one feels bad. Nani proudly looks at her daughter-in-law and tells everyone to get back home.
At home, all eat and go to their rooms. Arnav, in his room, thinks about the incident and the silent pain in Khushi's eyes. He remembers her doubting him, feeling bad about it, and tearing up the report just to show her faith in him. He remembers how mad he was at her and didn't talk to her despite her countless efforts to pacify him. He now realizes how much pain she must have gone through just by the mere speculation that Arav could be Arnav's son. He understands how brave she must have been all this time. All of a sudden he turns and sees Khushi staring at the sky. Even in the dark he can see the pain on her face. He is about to go to her, when NK comes to her! He asks Khushi whether she's okay! Khushi doesn't say anything! NK decides to leave her alone for a while and is about to go when Khushi says that she has seen loved ones going away to a place from where no one comes back, she has cried alone in the dark, but has always kept a smile on her face so that no one would feel bad. She laughed, danced, and did all the childish antics to fight her fears and pain! But today she feels like she doesn't have enough courage to fight the pain in her heart. She can't tolerate the fear of losing Arnav! She says that she has sacrificed a lot in her life for others happiness but she can't let Arnav go away from her! She can't breathe without him and just a thought of him being with someone else kills her a million times inside! She breaks down in tears...NK has tears in his eyes, too and is about to put his hand on her shoulder when he sees Arnav longing to come to Khushi! He smiles at Arnav and leaves. Khushi is still crying when the wind blows and she realizes that Arnav is there. She looks at him...he has tears in his eyes and is standing still. Khushi can't stop herself and RUNS INTO HIS ARMS! He hugs her back, tight! He lets her cry as much as she wants as he realizes that she has been fighting her pain and fears all by herself for a long time...Khushi just sinks in his arms!...They separate after a while and Arnav kisses her on the forehead...and promises her that he is always going to be with her till the last breath as he would die if she's not with him and they hug again!
