Actually, scratch that - next demon is Mahishi, if they introduce Mohini, and then show Bhashmasura being destroyed, then they could show Mahishi wanting to avenge Mahishashur, getting her boon on being killed only by a son of Shiva & Vishnu, and then get into the Ayappa story.
