Purvi being pregnant must have been an afterthought after that rainy night cottage clip, would not want to call it a "scene" as it was more of a brief, few seconds camera shot. If the unthinkable did happen, why did Arjun not drop her home? Why the rickshaw ride back?
If Purvi was able to cast aside Arjun even after all that, she must love her mother tons more than him. Her mother now is preoccupied with her son, while understandable when he was in the hospital, I hope she spares a thought to her idiotic daughter and knowing Manju and Punni better than anyone else, insists on bringing her home to the D household. CVs have conveniently forgotten that Vinod was to return only so Purvi could move out and not leave Sulo alone. Sulo herself seems to have forgotten this.
Getting back to the baby track, how can both Purvi and Ovi be 6 months pregnant? Purvi's baby must be older than Ovi's, it has been two months since the wedding already (Arjun mentions this at the office). If Ovi is going to trick Arjun at Punni's instigation or using her own mental resourcefulness (the girl has proven she can be quite clever in the past), her baby would still be younger than her sister's.
If Romil's entry on the scene is in anyway tied to Ovii's pregnancy or the future track, I am curious as to whether the CV's will make Ovi have a moral slip with Romil or if Romil will use treachery to entrap Ovi. What goes around comes around, that is Nemesis for you. I cannot imagine Ovi in her right mind and with her obsession for Arjun ever straying with another man. But the CV s have surprised us. If the sanskari Purvi can err, be it with her betrothed who she was going to wed in a day (there is many a slip between the cup and the lip, as she and we have learnt), I guess the CVs can lead Ovi astray too.
As for the discussion about Ovi being Manav and Archana's child and so incapable of moral wrong doing, the CVs have already made Ovi act negatively by her plotting and conniving, anathema to the lead couple's very nature.
PR is and will remain about the pavitra rishta of Manav and Archana, their kids none of them seem to have anything pavitra in them (except perhaps Teju), Archana's sanskars have done little or no good to Purvi, Manav's sanskars have done nothing for Sachin or Ovi, PR blood has not saved Soham from becoming a criminal. PR remains Archana's story, even as she grows older with Manav, she will be constantly beset wih new problems, if not of her own then of her children's. And Purvi, the fiesty, stand tall sanskari clone of Archana is fast following her aai's footsteps in inviting trouble galore upon herself, losing her job, becoming the target of Manju and Punni's machinations, losing her loved one due to the greedy love of family (Savi vs Ovi). There can be only one Archana, hope the CVs realize that and return Purvi to her original character while she battles pregnancy and Manju single-handedly and tries to thwart Soham's attempts to get his parents released.
