Today Madhu totally remind of Catherine and Heathcliff. Situations and relationships are completely different still it was like Madhu IS RK how she was feeling the pain. She remembered how Risabh got shot, how he fought with life and death and even the lifeless RK didn't let go of her hand and hold on to that, how the second time RK was about to lose his life. Her tears bear the testimony of not just her feelings but how she is scared to lose him again. She battled with God to get Risabh back into life and here the second attack somehow scared her. She was crying seeing how much pain Risabh has buried inside his heart. His pain was hers. It was like Madhu herself is in so much pain she couldn't bear anymore. Moreover, she can't even show her tears to RK neither she can express how she feels for him so the sobs were muffled until RK woke up. and RK - I feel so bad for both of them. RK's deep gaze towards Madhu was like he already knows why she was crying. Not for once he asked why she was crying. He was touched and he extended his hand to wipe her tears but he couldn't. How sad, think of a person who has shielded himself so deeply in the darkness that even if he wants, he just cannot come back that easily. It's not that he can't love anyone but he is not good when it comes to handling affection. He is not the best person to console you but that doesn't mean he can't feel the pain. He couldn't wipe her tears even if he wanted to, even couldn't take the pain away. Sometimes you just can't even though it's somehow hurting you too. How will the person console another one when his own heart is ripped, his own trust is brutally shattered many times' how could he? So he simply offered her a tissue to wipe her tears so whatever happens somehow he will always support her, maybe that won't be the best way but he will.
And RK is totally unpredictable, I didn't think he would open up to Madhu again and he did. I wonder for how many years he never got someone to share his pain to say how he felt and Im just glad he did. "Stop thinking about the wound so that your pain lessens" but did he? Stop thinking about his wound? He didn't or he couldn't perhaps. The wound bleed so deep that the possibilities of healing were almost impossible until Madhu came. The way he opened up to Madhu again shows he accepts her as a part of his life and deep inside his heart too but still he is not ready to accept his misery is NOT his fault. He is not ready to be pacified by anyone till now though madhu tired again to let him believe whatever happened with his father was never his fault. He is still scared if he let someone care for him again, they will leave him. I remember Poco said how RK is afraid and even believes, one day Madhu will leave him too. He is not just ready to go through the pain all over again and his face full of agony says it. the wound is 17 years old, bitter, profound ' it won't heal in a day. It will take a long time but it will. He doesn't deserve to suffer like this. He didn't deserve all the misery he has been through, all the betrayal that caged the Risabh inside his heart somewhere in darkness and made RK as the shield.
When Madhu tried to help him go back to bed, he refused again like he always says he doesn't want to take EHSAAN , he doesn't like it but Madhu still reminded her bravely she is as stubborn as RK is and knows how to have her way with him. it's a symbol of how even if RK shoves her away she won't leave him so easily. She will be his shadow, his mirror in pain, his healer; her selfless affection will one day run deep in RK's blood and heal him completely.
He finally atleast recognized he is taking another favor from madhu. He likes it or not her blood is in his body and even sarcastically he accepted what she did for him, to save his life. He knows and acknowledges she worries for him, how she cares for him and getting restless to see him bleeding and keep whining like a child - don't do this with me but Madhu being as stubborn like RK manages RK giving him back his own tactics!! on the hospital room scene where Madhu was putting bandage on RK's hand his gaze was like he was wondering how could she care for me so much. it's still pretty unfathomable to him that someone could do something for him without their selfish reasons. Noone did for a long time. he accepts it sarcastically but he did. and in the bedroom, he remembers how Madhu asked him innocently that wouldnt have he done the same for him if she was in RK's place? so it shows they will always be each other's rock, they will always support each other in thick and thin. their relationship might start in a twisted way but their heart strings has attached and now RK can't separate that even if he wants. and if he does, madhu will once again attach it back. that's how they are soulmates â¤ď¸
