Don't mix values with dogma. Stoning and calling women witches were highly dogmatic behaviors. They were NOT values.

Values didn't change, but our behavior and sense of punishment changed. That's why we don't punish people or stone them when they have premarital sex. I appreciate the sense of freedom now. But that doesn't mean premarital sex is appreciated!
Again, think about Khushi's values! People still love to be in a religious world where there are some restrictions in sexual behavior!

My friend values are and have always been societal construct, created by the dominant to dominate the others. the examples I cited has instances from all over the world, India as well. And when values change, even slightly, the earlier version is called dogma, but in the essence they remain the same. If our society is still not ready to accept a child who is born out of a wedlock then it in itself is a punishment for lifetime. Sex for me is wrong only when it is forced or done through manipulations and that m sure was never a case with ASR, consensual sex is acceptable as far as my personal opinion is concerned.

PS: Do u see the irony in the reded statement😆
Anyways we r all entitled to hold to our opinions and I believe consensual sex that Arnav had with Sheetal or anyone B4 marriage is completely justified and cannot be counted as infidelity towards khushi , especially knowing that he didn't believe in either love or marriage and still had a girlfriend, what did he want la for then if he had decided to remain celibate throughout his life.

I'm not talking about his virginity. Virginity is not the issue here. The title of the show is all about love, and it's based on mutual trust of Arshi. Khushi would never be able to love ASR like before if Aarav is proved to be ASR's son.
It's not about responsibility, we don't want Aarav to be proved as ASR's baby in first place!
We've watched these past-related complications in kekta serials a lot... don't wanna watch them again!
Shows are supposed to be entertaining. No one wants to deal with real life complications and stress by watching a serial! We wanna see Arshi fight evils, but not this kind of dark reality!

Arshi story is magical. What's wrong with demanding to keep the story magical?

We don't want Arshi to go through that much of pain!

Aarav being ASR's son would be a stigma that will stay with them throughout their life, and we'll never get to enjoy the romance and chemistry like before! Is that what u want?

Peace! Let a magical love story be magical!
Don't want a "dusri aurat" between them!

Well if u want just the superficial magic then be content with Khushi's OTTs and Arnav looking at her amused and sometime mind it sometimes a decent rabba ve over breakfast table tat ends in her pulling his cheek. For the intensity and passion to come back we desperately need some conflict, a pinch of reality. 2ndly if there is no pain in Arshi equation the story and chemistry is lost, forever. If Aarav will be seen as a stigma cz his mother decided to bring him up all by herself then m very sad but all the efforts of our feminists who struggled for equality and women's liberation went down the drain.

IPK is about love but also about hate and we must never forget that its the combination fo the two that gives the story that extra edge.

A pinch of reality is good, but Aarav being shown as ASR's son would be a BLOW of reality that will destroy the show.
Not commenting about values anymore because I understand your values are quite different than mine.
