The Hell-Shocking Surprise
Well, this is my first bit of writing. I worked very hard on it so plz don't throw chappals on me!! It's short cause I didn't wanted to make it long!! š

As I'm a regular reader of her works, her writing inspired me to write a short OS. Thanx Appy!! š
Here, now start!!
Arshi | OS
Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada came out of the bathroom while drying her face with a towel. She was not feeling well. She had vomited thrice since morning and this matter was going for quite a while now. Khushi had been hiding it from everyone and especially from Arnav, her husband about her health. Khushi knew that if she told Arnav that she had been feeling nausea so he would panic. Suddenly she felt dizzy. Her head started spinning. She was about to collapse, she was waiting for the ground to hit her, when a strong pair of arms slid beneath her slim waist and held her safely. Khushi lay unconscious in the arms of her loving, caring yet worried husband.
''Khushi'', Arnav said. ''Khushi, hosh mein aao. Di, Nani, Payal, Akash, Mami. Koi hai??? ''Khushi!!'' Arnav said while shaking his wife.
Then all the family members barged in hurrying and scattering around the couple.
''Jaldi koi pani do'' said a worried Arnav.
Payal quickly ran to the bed-side table and poured out a glass of water and gave it to Arnav.
Arnav sprinkled the water on Khushi's face as she came back into her senses. Meanwhile Akash had called the doctor immediately on the orders of his mother.
Arnav picked Khushi up in his arms and carried her to their bed and laid her down.
The bell rang and Akash went.
''Khushi are you okay?? Subah se tum kuch theek nahi lag rahi ho. Tumhari tabiyat to theek hai na??'' asked Arnav.
As Arnav finished his questioning session Akash entered while the doctor scurried behind him.
The doctor looked at Khushi and gestured the other members go out and leave them alone for a while. The doctor took out her stethoscope and checked Khushi. Suddenly there appeared a wide smile on the doctor's face. She looked up at Khushi and said ''Congratulations Mrs. Raizada, you are pregnant.''
At that point the world stopped for Khushi, she couldn't believe her ears. She was pregnant, She was about become a mother.
Meanwhile, Arnav was becoming restless. For him it felt like hours that the doctors had closed the room and had been checking Khushi.
The doctor came out of the room. Arnav ran towards her.
''Hows she?? Is she OK?? Why did you take so much time? Why aren't you speaking dammit?'' Arnav bombarded the doctor with questions.
The doctor smiled and replied, ''Don't worry, there is nothing to be worried about but she needs good care.''
At the confused looks on everybody's face the doctor said, ''Congratulations, she's pregnant.''
Everybody yelped in surprise, Anjali shed tears of happiness, whereas Mami said, ''Hello
hi bye bye, my Arnav bitwa about to become fatherwa, wah wah.''
But Arnav, he just stood still, not speaking a word not showing an emotion but stood still.
He was hell shocked yet happy that he was about become a daddy. He and Khushi were about to have a baby, their baby, their own blood.
Everybody scurried inside the room, eager to meet Khushi. There they saw Khushi on the bed holding her stomach and smiling. Payal went and gave Khushi a hug.
''Aap ko bohat bohat badhai ho, Khushi betiya.'' said Nani.
''Yes, many Congratulations, Khushi betiya.'' said Mami.
There Arnav stood by the door looking at Khushi while a small smile played on his lips.
One by one everybody congratulated Khushi and then they had a long talk about the child, his gender, his name and much more.
Suddenly Payal realized that Arnav was by the door and hadn't spoke a word, she said
''I think now we should leave the-soon-to-be parents alone so they can have a talk.''
Everybody laughed and got up to leave the room. When Arnav realized that he and Khushi were alone in the room he made his way towards his wife and sat beside her.
He kissed her forehead and slowly made his way down. He came to her and stomach kissed it. Then he rose up and looked up at Khushi who was looking at Arnav like never before. They looked into each other's eyes. There stared each for what was like hours and then Arnav broke the trance.
''Khushi'', Arnav said. ''Thank you, for giving me the world's best and wonderful gift.''
As Arnav said this Khushi started crying and then engulfed Arnav into a warm hug. They hugged each other and lay comfortably in each other's arms like there was no tomorrow.
Well, how was it!! I know it is very very short š¤¢ but it is my first ever piece of writing and I worked really hard on it!!!š Plz like and comment!!š And feel free to give me advise on my writingš so I could improve!āļø Thanx!! š
