path and playing her like a pro in order to
extract the truth from her in true filmy hero
eshtyle . RK's dramatics enacting "Mughle-
Azam types" love story and confessing
about his past with Dips and her selfless
devotion , seemed to have initially hurt
Madhu and make her a tad jealous, but as
soon as she saw RK requesting Dips to
make a small cut on her wrists to prove her
love for him, Madhu realized RK's
nautanki , and watched like a silent
bystander with a bemused expression on
her face. I think I felt a rush of exhilaration
to see RK unmask Dips , (barely being able
to contain myself from clapping in glee)
and hope that the memory of his wrath will
prevent her from pulling such low down
stunts in future. With this little charade, I
think RK not only extracted the truth about
Madhu's blood donation to him , but also
managed to dampen Dip's desire for him to
a great extent——– Dips would now really
have to be a shameless bimbo to try her
seduction stunts on RK again. Madhu on
the other hand was really decent and
dignified during the entire drama, not
reacting even once , even though her heart
was ripping apart to see RK romance
another woman in front of her very eyes.
It's become very apparent to all (including
RK , I think) that Madhu's developed
feelings for RK inspite of her better
judgement —-her conversation with
Padminiji also implied as much, which is
why she answered RK's question of why
she'd donated blood to him with another
question, that had he been in similar
circumstances, wouldn't he have done the
same for her? Madhu's convo with Padmini
made her realize that even her mother had
seen and sensed RK's inherent goodness,
and I guess the reassurance made Madhu
feel less guilty about her new feelings for
RK —-the man who had filled their lives
with sorrow and turned it topsy turvy. I just
love Padmini's dignity, positivity and
fighting spirit which I glimpse in Madhu as
well—-I love the fact that inspite of her
anger directed towards RK not once did
Padmini bad-mouth him in front of Madhu
or Mallik. Being a mother of a grown up
son myself, I could relate to Radhaji's hurt
and pain and my heart went out to her
——– it makes me wonder what could she
possibly have done to warrant such anger
and loathing from her own son—–apart
from getting married to a loser like Kuku
Bhatia. All in all an enjoyable and episode
where all the actors gave brilliant
performances —-a big thanks to the CVs for
not stretching Dips lies too far , and giving
us viewers the pleasure of seeing Madhu
vindicated !
