Finally, things happened like what we all expected. I'm really not afraid about what will happen next. Sooraj knows what to do. Far later, Bhabho will melt & accept her mistakes. She is not an impossible nut.
Anyhow this topic is not about that. Now don't tell me culture, tradition, values etc... Tell me whether did Sandhya get married to Rathi Mansion? Or Bhabho? Or Mohit? Or Chavi?. No, isn't it? She has got married to Sooraj. (love you chchora.ahem.ahem.). Then he obviously has got the right to decide what should happen with his wife, than any third one. What right Bhabho or anyone else has got to stop him from doing something for his wife?(no right chchora. She is only yours. Let Hiral amma come. We'll teach Bhabho two-three lessons at least😆). So my question is what right a MIL has got than a husband over his wife? And Sooraj, chchora why do you need to bow before Bhabho for each and every thing that you want to do for your beendni? Are you going to take Bhabho's permission, blessings and directions before DBC also?😲. Oh may be she will tell you how to do it according to soch, sanskaar and parampara of Rathis.😆 Na chchora na. You should've told her 'I decided my wife will continue her education. She is my wife'. Similar dialogue you've dashed off when she had been thrown out by Bhabho. Right? Ab mera woh sher kahan gaya?😭
I should say Bhabho is not only a lady, but a personification of both all good and bad sides of Indian culture. A good number of our elders are stubborn, who only try to see the dust in others' eyes, forgetting stones in own eyes. They just want to rule. All different opinions will be ruthlessly rejected. I'm the best, every one must see only my face and my full figure. Thats the attitude. They claim they are matured, experienced and learnt. When commit mistakes, they call it tradition. If any younger one questions it, he/she will be tagged as arrogant and immoral. Why this society is only for elders? What do they have got that makes them so outstanding? Dont tell me experience and age! Their experience never matters. What matters is whether they have learnt something from it. Maturity also never comes with age. Then what point they have got to prove themselves? Nothing. Such narrow-minded people are stupid. They think they're right only because they are elder and experienced. They can never think about any other possibility or a better side of a thing. Majority elders are like that. (ahem.ahem.some of them are roaming in this forum too. But please take care of your words. Forgive me. I'm not talking about all elders out here. But only particular ones). Why can't be the younger ones also right? What is wrong in accepting your fault if you've done it? I dont know. Were not these elders younger ones once?
That is why I love DABH. Its all about breaking this monopoly, from an impartial side. Look at Bhabho. She says women should move only hands, not tongue, else a family would perish. And in her house, her tongue works more than her. Now who is pushing Rathi Pariwaar to perishing? Forget it. She said she is more concerned about the unity and dignity of their family. But has her family got it, unity and dignity? Baabasa moves his tongue only while chewing. Meena is a serial liar. Vikram is suspicious. Chavi and Mohit are vindictive to the maximum extend they can. And Bhabho is a dominatrix. Is that a family? Only Sooraj and Sandhya are exceptions.😆
Bhabho is the sum of all those unwanted boring preconceptions that still prevail in our society. Bhabho is the representation of a yesterday that wants to rule tomorrow. Sandhya is tomorrow. (and my chchora is forever.! Well Bhabho has many good dimensions too. Thats why I love her a lot. She is infact insecured and afraid. But this is not the right time to discuss it. For the time being, my concentration is only on her minus points.). And no yesterday can exist with tomorrow. It will be a history by then. The way DABH is raising voice against the monopoly of such steriotyped elders is praiseworthy. A mistake is a mistake only. No one can change it. Then what is wrong in accepting that? What makes a person to be respected is how he behaves and also the intentions behind it, not his age or experience. We should be concerned only about the validity of words, not about the person. No oceans were born as oceans, but as raindrops. And many people forget that. As I said sometime before, there are other sides of this issue. But now really tired to discuss all those. Today let it be only one side of the coin.
Giving a big applause to DABH CVs for giving us such meaningful lessons, I'm stopping my rants.
Thanks for bearing me.
JAMy.
