Celebrate Durga Pooja by visiting innovative pandals

Pratigya says, "Durga Pooja is celebrated across four days -- Maha-Saptami, Maha-Asthami, Maha-Navami and Vijaya-Dashamiamidst lots of fanfare. I would be spending time with my near and dear ones and planning to tell Samar stories about Goddess Durga."

An excited Akshara says, "Preparation forDurga Pooja festival starts with innovative decorations of houses, towns and market places. The floral decorations are installed to welcome goddess Durga. I simply love the theme-based pandals. We would be taking Naksh and Chikki to some of the pandals."

A devoted bahu Sandhya says, "We make early morning floral offerings to Ma Durga, which is followed by a pooja. I like going to the pandals, where we experience a perfect fusion of mantras andshlokas and get blessings from the deity."

Our newest bride Maanvi shares, "I have always wanted to visit Kolkata during Durga Pooja. I just fancy about the huge clay idols of goddess Durga with vibrant colour. I wish Viraat takes me to some of the nearby pandals."
