Good Post Rima!

It is totally ridiculous if anyone thinks that Arnav doesn't deserve Khushi or Khushi doesn't deserve Arnav when they have spent nearly more than a year in "real time" showing us how they fell in love. No other show has spent so much time in just showing so many different shades and layers of love.
6 months - was spent in pretty much ASR getting over his prejudices and misconceived notions finally accepting that he cannot continue with the charade of a relationship with Lavanya because Khushi means "something" to him.
2 months - ASR overcoming his hesitation to finally reach out to Khushi in Teri Meri, the flirting and romance, the kiss, the gifting of bangles, showing his soft side until the big MU
3 months - Post marriage – this phase was bad for Khushi but Arnav did suffer ---every time he hurt her feelings. But their feelings deepened in spite of the misunderstanding.
2 months - Kidnapping phase - realization of love for both Khushi and Arnav
4 months - Post kidnapping – Arnav's efforts to make Khushi happy, her birthday, gifting her, protecting her from hitler dadi, remarriage, letting go of his past
IPK has spoiled me so much that the other day I argued with my mom and sis about other shows. If one excluded the "comedy" parts it is the least dramatic show on TV.
Other shows use "family members" brainwashing the protagonists into believing they are in love. Unlike IPK --- where they both realize entirely on their own and in their own time.
Other shows use "revelation of past" as the reason for developing soft corner for the protagonist. In IPK Khushi fell in love with Arnav without knowing the reason why he was the way he was. She just loved him. Period.
When Arnav found out about Khushi's link up with his past he didn't care. He just loved her. Period.
Other shows use "saving life" as the reason for developing soft corner. The heroine saves hero's life, vice versa, then again vice versa or the hero saves the life of some loved one etc. In IPK Arnav says "I love you" before he knew Khushi was going to save his life.
In IPK --
No one "runs away" to force a realization of love.
No pregnancy to force a realization of love.
No usage of villains/vamps to force a realization of love.
No one forced anyone to change their belief about God or way of life.
No one challenges anyone or give ultimatums.
No one does things to prove a point.
They just love. Slowly. But surely. Unconditionally.
I don't know what this show has in store for us. But so far it has been a roller coaster ride of thrilling ups and downs and I appreciate it for what it has been and will still look forward with hope.

Thanks Rima!!!
I don't understand why people are writing off the track/show after one episode and the track has not even started.
The show would be a mess if the CVs done everything according to the Internet janta!
If some people do not want to watch the show then who is making them? Are these people really IPK fans? For the rest of us want the show to continue for a long time!
The less I come on IF the better!

I just want them to show nice episodes and dont want OTT in every episode...Its nice to have some comedy but not too illogical...

agree
episodes need to be better
i honestly don't think it was LM yest

Good post. ARnav and Khushi are meant for each in very sense. Jst hoping the passion, intensity, love come back with a bang.
It always healthy that we discuss and rant our frustrations, show our dissatisfaction over a certain thing. So that the team is well aware abt what the viewers want and go accordingly. Take for eg posts were flooded requesting for a remarriage , every body wanted it and we got it , same thing is happening now so I guess the tam will take necessary action.
I am glad that we have got this platform IF to voice our opinions and frustration.
