I just mentioned this elsewhere. It may be a cultural thing, but right now in the US the military look is out and long is in. I thought in the Diwali episode hair cut his ears were sticking out. Plus there is a sensuous appeal to being able to run your fingers through long hair.

obviously the diwali ones dont know y but his current hair look is just ok or less than average!!🤔 and ya even looks awesome when his hair comes on his forehead!! like during the kidnapping sequence!!
