Author's Note: I do not own Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon or Arjun. I do not own any of the characters depicted in the shows either. I just own the story line and I do not intend to take copy or plagiarise anything. Any resemblance with another story line or plot shall have to be kindly excused because I so not intend to steal.

Two Face

Part One

"I wouldn't have bothered you if I really didn't need your help, but this is really important and I knew I couldn't trust anyone but you in this matter" Arnav started, looking ahead of him as he and Arjun sat infront of the India Gate, late at night. Not many people were around and everyone was too busy to take notice of either of them.

"What's going on?" Arjun asked, knowing neither he nor Arnav liked the, 'beat around the bush' talk!

"My wife is in danger" Arnav stated matter if factly, still looking right ahead of him and Arjun was forced to look at him. "How can you say that?" he asked, already reading Arnav's body language to extract anything unusual. He knew Arnav was always a clean guy, but there was really no reason left in his world wherein he could trust anyone anymore.

"I've been getting threatening calls from someone. They keep telling me they will kidnap her or even worse kill her if I didn't do what they wanted me to do" he said and Arjun, who didn't take his eyes off his friend asked him, "What do they want you to do?"

"They want money, 2 billion to be more precise. I've been getting these calls from the past two days and finally I thought this is something I should hand over to you. It's not like I don't trust the police out there, but you, I know you'd be a much better bet" he stated, his body trembling with anger. He felt like grabbing a hold of all those assholes and killing them one by one.

"Have you told this to anyone else?" Arjun asked, nodding in understanding. "No, just you and me, no one from my family knows either, not even my wife." He said and Arjun looked at him a little confused. "You should tell her" he stated and Arnav downright disagreed.

"I can't, she's too vulnerable right now. She's pregnant" he answered, crisp and sharp. His words only meant, 'you put my wife in trouble, I'll shred each and every piece of your body!'

"But she should know, you'll have to tell her so that she can be cautious" Arjun offered, knowing that his words were going to go down the drain anyway. "I don't think so Arjun, you see Khushi's is not quite the normal pregnancy. I know I need to tell her, but she's so fragile right now that the stress would cause damage to her body. And honestly speaking, I'd give up all my fortune in a breath if it means my wife will be safe and happy in my arms all her life, but right now I'm very helpless. She cannot know that she's on target, that'll only rattle and bother her and I don't want her to suffer, never" Arnav explained with upmost authority.

Arjun understood immediately that he meant business and that when it came to Khushi, Arnav used both his heart and head and not just his head. If there really was anyone Arjun Raute would compare himself to, or he thought would be qualified enough to be as sharp as him, it would definitely be Arnav. He was not only smart and wise, his intellect was beyond imagination and he was a born prodigy. He had created sensation and the impossible looked like nothing infront of him!

"Is it alright if I get my team to join me?" he asked Arnav, quite embarrassed himself that he had to actually seek permission, inspite of being a senior detective. "Maybe I would want to meet them first if you don't mind, but yeah, I trust you. They can join us" Arnav agreed.

"Us?"

"You seriously don't expect me to stay out of an issue that involves my wife's security, do you?" Arnav asked Arjun as if he had lost it and Arjun disagreed.

"No, I think you definitely would be a part of it"

"Good, it's really nice to see you again Raute"

"You too Raizada"

And they parted ways, knowing tomorrow was a long day.

I'm sooo happy you finally listened to me and decided to pen this awesome thing down on IF!!
