Her blonde hair tied up in a tight pony tail, swayed away in the autumn air of New York, as she walked beside her best friend who was with his girlfriend, the two indulged in some very peppy talk which she had little interest in. Looking ahead of her path, the three entered the reddish brown campus building and walked throught he cooridor, and erry uncaniness enveloping them. As if the giddy feeling of being in a new place was not enough, her eyes met with a pair which was walking in the opposite direction too engrossed in their chatter to see her, but her mind had completely froze seeing them, standing stationary on her point.

"Where do you think you are going? Leave it now. There is no space for sorry now. It's highly unlikely of us to meet them again."

You were wrong. She heard herself saying, and before she knew what was happening, there she was rotted to her space, staring in the baffled, disgusted eyes of the boy who she had annoyed earlier at that wedding. Aryan let go of Rita, his girl friend and told her to go to class, walking towards Anita and acknowledging Aparna and Arjun's presence with as much surprise as Anita had. Arjun glared hard at Aryan, switching his eyes from Aryan to Anita and then rolled his pupils inside his sockets, while Aparna seeing his discreet attitude pinched him from the side.

"I thought you said we were never going to meet them again. Here they are. AGAIN." Arjun said icily to Aparna, still looking Anita menancingly, as well as Aryan who he still thought was Anita's boy friend.

"Are you crazy? Why do you want me to come with you, and more importantly what has any of this got to with our parents freedom?" Arnav asked her curiously and she mumbled on for an answer, thinking over and over again of again for a believable excuse until she was left with only one reliable option. DRAMA.

"Arnav please? Arnav please? Please? Please? Just please?" She started away whining, imitating some sobs on the phone much to Arnav's initial surprise, who seemed to have gotten a bit dismantled with her sudden unknown outburst.

"Gupta Stop! Stop crying for heavens sake! I'll come alright? Just stop crying you understand!" Arnav literally shouted out from across the phone, causing Khushi to drag the phone miles apart from her ear, in the danger of her losing her hearing if Arnav's voice directly attended to her hearing aids.

Anjali stood on the door gaping at the sight in front of her, nearly losing conscious it been for the last minute arrival of Aakash who seemed as bewildered about the whole situation as Anjali was, however the two siblings supporting each other weight, stood frozen on their spots like marble, the complete scene looking entirely comical.

"What The!" they heard Arnav from behind shout , as the duo spinned around giving him easy access to the person of interest standing on the door knocking the bretahe out of each of the three siblings.

"OMG! Its dad! Aakash its dad! It's dad" Anjali started jumping around violently, as Arjun Raizada, holding the merriest smile on his face entered, and steadied his daughter, ,looking straight into her eyes with a deep amusement, Anjali unable to bear the affection hugged her father tightly, tears rolling down her eyes.

"You still have this sketch don't you? Still waiting for that girl to come?" Arjun asked him teasingly, and Arnav gave a twisted expression trying to conceal the hidden rush of emotions going inside him.

"I know who she is." He said shortly, not giving any more information with Arjun continuously looking at him skeptically waiting for him to continue. When he didn't, he decided to probe questions on his own.

"Well that's great! You eleven year wait did pay off didn't it?"

"I wasn't waiting for her" Arnav replied back gruffly, making a smug smile appear on his fathers face, lightening up his manly, handsome features.

"Of course I understand Choote. My Choote doesn't wait for anyone does he? *pause* So tell me who's the girl? Did you as her name? Are you two friends?" Arjun asked back excited, and Arnav looked upwards seeing that drip of excitement in his father's voice, highly amusing him. He knew his father, he was more fond of him than he was of anyone, and at times, in fact most of the time he was his only best friend when it came to complicated stuff. His guards could never resist the probing mind of his father, so like every time this time too he had put down his weapons and open up to him.

"I know her name. I changed it to my convenience and she doesn't real mind. But the friend question it's difficult to answer. I don't know." Arnav told his father in a stout tone, making Arjun look with a keen expression at his son, who seemed like he was shaking or was still consumed up in thoughts. There was uncertainty in his voice which was very unlike Arnav, since well he knew, it was always a Yes and a No option for Arnav, 'I don't know' was a phrase that did not even exist in his dictionary, and that too coupled with the hint of confusion, NEVER.

"Khushi there is something I wanted to tell you." Mayank said leaning close to Khushi who was looking behind from her seat to see a very irritated Arnav who was pestering her about when she was returning back to her seat next to him. Hearing Mayank's mechanical voice Khushi turned to face him, only to seem him holding a strange expression on his face, her rising a questioning eyebrow at him.

"What?"

"I think Arnav has a crush on you" He almost whispered into her ear, much to Arnav''s greatest interest as Khushi moved back forward staggering back and looked at Mayank with wide eyes making them look like pot holes.

"He doesnt. He never can" she answered back sturdily, however her mind was lost in a whirlpool of questions and she stole a fleeting glance at him sitting back, thoughts of previous events churning inside her brain at full speed.
