Sanaya Irani aka Khushi: Though principle of girl next door is what still happens to be the common trait seen in daily soaps, but in the recent past we have certainly come across a new breed of characters, which have the perfect blend of modern age thinking and conventional ideology. To begin we have the very bubbly, chirpy and vivacious Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Rayzada aka Sanaya Irani from Star Plus' extremely popular Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon. Khushi's character though is known for the weird antics but she has right sense of maturity too, which we must say is the main reason that helped her in transforming ASR into Arnav played by Barun Sobti. She values relations a lot and at the same time knows it perfectly to stand for her dignity and respect.
Drashti Dhami aka Madhubala:
First she won hearts playing the bubbly Geet in Geet Hui Sabse Parayi and at present Drashti Dhami is yet again making her fans proud essaying the tough role of Madhubala in Colors' quite Bollywood like tale Madhubala-Ek Ishq Ek Junoon. Her character in the show is that of a modern day girl who is self-dependent, free thinker and at the same time has deeply imbibed moral and cultural values. She is straight forward in her talks and doesn't mind calling a spade a spade, but even knows the delicacy of relations and handles them with great care.
Krystle D'Souza aka Jeevika:
She is the caring wife, loving sister, ideal bahu and above all a great human being. Jeevika aka Krystle D'Souza from Star Plus' Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai has created a special place in the hearts of all. While she is ready to sacrifice all her happiness for the ones she loves, she even has the courage to stand by the wrong and fight against injustice. Family has always been a priority for her but keeping her dignity up is also what she does the best
Kritika Kamra aka Nidhi:
Playing a young and ambitious Dr. Nidhi in Sony TV's Kuch Toh Log Kahenge, Kritika Kamra is doing a fab job. She is indeed representing the modern day girl, who dreams of having her own identity in this male driven world and also understands the value of love and relations. Her thoughts and opinions matter a lot to her and she never shies away from speaking her heart out. But that doesn't mean she gives a deaf ear to what her elders and well wishers have to say. As Dr. Nidhi, she perfectly manages the little world she is living in.
Aamna Sharif aka Muskaan:
Aamna Sharif had earlier also played a classy character with Kashish in Kahin To Hoga and to her luck, this time too she has been given an equally elegant and well tailored role in Sony TV's Hongey Judaa Na Hum where she plays Muskaan. The show is new on the tube but given the popularity and ranking Aamna holds, it is bound to fetch more of attention. And as far as her character Muskaan is concerned then it is one of those very few roles seen on small screen, with which many would agree relating too. Muskaan is a complete package of beauty with brains and a heart that emotes all feelings perfectly.
Disha Parmar aka Pankhuri:
Last but definitely not the least, Pankhuri aka Disha Parmar from Star Plus' light hearted romantic drama Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara is the newest member to make her presence felt. She is cute, innocent, charming and much grounded. Though she is never seen answering back the elders (especially Avantika aka Manasi Salvi) in the family who constantly lash out at her but this isn't her weakness but the respect she has for them. However, she never takes in the wrong thing and believes in putting forward her thoughts and ideas
