It looks like Harry Potter won't be playing Quidditch in his next film.
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is over 900 pages long, so Producers had to cut a lot of the book's side story-lines. The move has angered Potter fans, but the producers insist that the Quidditch sequences aren't essential to the plot.
"It would be wonderful to include every single page of the book. But as with all Harry Potter films, elements have had to be omitted," a spokesman for the studio told The Sun.
But in the book, Quidditch does play a big part of the storyline. Why did the studio refuse to cut the book in half and make it into two movies? That seemed like the smart way to go.
