SP: Finally dark shadow goes from family-prats

Finally the dark shadow over my family has gone

I am glad Bauji has come around the thought of Komal marrying a man who belongs to a lower caste. When Bauji and other family members refused for Komal and Kartik's marriage I was taken aback. But seeing Krishna overlooking caste system and accepting Kartik's marriage proposal for Komal made me proud of him.

I am not angry with my in-laws for being conservative as we stay in a small town and people have been born and brought in an orthodox and conservative way. But until and unless we don't change our mindset and work towards eliminating such discrimination on religion, caste and creed, how can we expect other people to do the same. I believe and hope this change happening in our family helps in bringing a larger change in the society we live in.

Anyways we all are very happy about how the wind has changed its course for us. The family is again united and I hope it stays strong and always like this. Plus, the whole family is elated with the news of me being pregnant. I am excited at the same though am a little nervous too. I am just praying everything turns out to be better for my child.
