thanks all, for your responses. i did not see that episode where archana talked to the police and when they said purvi's parents were also orphans. if archana made all attempts to find purvi's family, then she is 100% correct in keeping and raising purvi instead of just dumping her in some orphanage.

Purvi's background is not known ..they (CVs) never give any clue about them. There are too many characters in PR..even some of them hardly have a scene..so why would Ekta Kapoor wants to introduce more characters..and that too already dead? Or her real relatives? For what?

Absolutely Archana is better. Varcha r vampire.

Archana should not have picked up purvi , given her a home, a name and education. Most importantly love and secority.She should have left purvi to her fate as decided by the police or authorities. Yes, she should not have been so selfish.poor purvi!
