The inevitable.. begins!!

Thr was so much noise..

N crowd..!!

The train was all set to leave..

Walking towards d fag end of the coach, towards the door..

I found sm space..

Sasha.. whr was she?

Y wasn't she picking d phone..

Its just been a day n already it seems like d working condition out der was out of ctrl..!!

N der was still more than a week to go!!

I looked arnd only to c adi n dev enjoying demselves,

N for a sec I was tempted to go along wid their plan..

N enjoy being just "maan"!!

Being maan singh khurana in india had its own pros n cons!!

Being a multi-billionaire attension came in plenty!!

Be it media or women or nythng else..!!

Bt it was all so fake and momentary..

It all came bcoz of the position I held in front of the world..

Not the mention d constant invasion of privacy!!

Evry1 wanted to be a part of my fame..

Bt I knew no one wanted to share the hardships involved in living upto it!!

I too wanted a life..

I too wanted to share it..

Wid a sm1 special..!!

Who wud share my life in its whole..

The ups and downs..!!

The happiness and d sorrows!!

I turned arnd to look outside still lost in my thots..

The journey was abt to begin..

Nd a breeze greeted me bringing in a feel of freshness..

Cud dis b d start of a change in my monotonous life??

A new beginning!!??

Widout any hassles, widout any faade, wid no strings attached!!??

Wishful thinking indeed!!

I moved closer to d door and glanced out..

N

The first thng tht caught my attension..

Was a girl running towards d train..!!

Dressed in jeans and top, I cudnt make much of her looks,

Bt d way she was running towards d train, as of her life depended on it!!

I dint know wht came over me,

As on an impulse I extended my hand out to her,

Smthng very unlike me!!

Bt she was still out of reach!!

I was almost standing at the edge of d door,

If she dint get thru dis tym,

I wud have to back off as the door wud close..

N she wudnt be able to make it!!

Bt for sm reason, I wanted her to make it!!

I extended my hand out again,

Hoping to reach her..

Her fingers grazed mine..

Bt still cudnt get hold of her..!!

As she stretched her hand to d max, I finally got hold of her..

N

Pulled her in, just in tym as d doors closed!!

Bt due to d force of d pull and d sudden closure,

I cudnt balance myself..

We fell back hard on d floor of the train..

On an impulse I wrapped my arms around her, trying to cushion d impact of the fall..!!

Her long hair covered her face..

Like hiding her from my eyes..

Smthng I dint approve of..!!

I cudnt hold back, removing d barrier tht obstructed my view..

For sm reason,

I wanted to c her..

Clearing her hair from her face, I tucked them behind her ear, feeling her milky soft white skin..

She looked angelic..

Her eyes were closed..

N her breath irregular..

Making me realize d proximity of our positions!!

She had held onto me as if scared to face reality..!!

Smthng abt her ryt nw made her look so vulnerable, so enchanting, and oh so beautiful!!

"maan!!" "geet!!" "mk!!"

I heard simultaneous shouts, breaking my reverie!!

It took a second to process my thots to realize wht was happening!!

Here, I, maan singh khurana, was lost in a girl..!!

The voices, my brain processed were of adi and dev who had shouted seeing me fall..

Of sasha.. as d phone was on auto-redial, and she had finally received the call..!!

N

"geet!!"

So tht was her name..

D damsel in distress!!

I cudnt believe I got so carried away in my thots..

Tht I'd actually helped her out!!

I sensed sm movement..

N

Realised she was trying to move away..

Bt y wasn't she??

Then it struck me tht she was trapped in my arms!!

Embarrassed I moved away,

As she steadied herself..!!

"thank u babaji!!"

She murmured!!

She looked upto me, finally allowing me a glimse of her hazels..

She had the most beautiful eyes, I had evr seen!!

So pure, so innocent..

A depiction of purity!!

"thank u!! wo.. i.. I dint realize the train was.."

"instead of thanking me just make sure u r not late next tym..!! do u realize tht u just pulled off a dangerous stunt.. u cud have hurt urself or worse..!! n nothing cud have saved u!!"

I dint know wht drove me speak so much to her..

Why was I loosing myself??

I just had to walk away accepting her thanx, bt I had ranted away..

I walked away, as I cud feel d glares of the ppl all around us..!! esp adi n dev..

N as sasha's voice intruded us again!!

i dint know wht had happened and more importantly why??

For a couple of months, probably just once a month!!
